SWTCH and FLO Partner to Streamline EV Charging Across North America

Charging your EV just became simpler. Canadian charging networks SWTCH Energy and FLO have entered into a new roaming partnership that allows drivers to access both networks through a single app and payment method. The collaboration is designed to eliminate the hassle of juggling multiple accounts and apps when charging away from home.

The partnership officially launched today, giving SWTCH users access to over 70,000 public chargers across North America, while FLO members can now connect with more than 110,000 chargers through this integration. Both companies say this move will make EV ownership more seamless, encourage adoption, and help drivers travel farther with confidence.

“Our partnership with FLO represents exactly the kind of industry collaboration that will encourage and accelerate EV adoption,” said Carter Li, CEO of SWTCH Energy. “By breaking down network silos, we’re creating the seamless, integrated charging ecosystem that drivers deserve.”

Louis Tremblay, President and CEO of FLO, added, “Working with SWTCH strengthens that network even further, giving drivers the confidence that charging will be seamless wherever their road takes them.”

Both companies have existing roaming agreements with other charging providers, but this latest partnership significantly expands coverage. FLO drivers already have access to more than 110,000 public charging stations through collaborations with BC Hydro EV, ChargePoint, Electric Circuit, eCharge Network, and Shell Recharge, while SWTCH maintains its own roaming deal with Electric Circuit in Quebec.

By combining their networks, FLO and SWTCH are delivering exactly what EV drivers have been asking for — wider access, fewer barriers, and a more consistent charging experience across North America.
