The Ford advantage

Made for your Ford.
Chosen for a reason.

A brake repair is about more than replacing a worn part. Fit, performance and installation all matter. Motorcraft® brings Ford engineering to the parts your vehicle depends on.

01 / Fit

Designed with your Ford in mind.

Motorcraft® parts are engineered for Ford and Lincoln vehicles, with OEM-quality fit and function. Our team matches the correct brake parts to your vehicle’s specifications.

02 / Quality

Testing behind the name.

Motorcraft® parts undergo extensive testing and Ford certification. That engineering gives you a clear reason to choose the brand when it’s time to replace your Ford’s brake parts.

03 / Value

Support beyond the repair.

Ford-backed warranty coverage adds value to eligible Motorcraft® parts. Ask us which coverage applies to your brake service and keep your repair invoice for future reference.

Start with the full picture

The right parts.
The right next step.

Tell us what you’ve noticed, whether it’s a new sound, a change in pedal feel or a concern during your commute. We’ll inspect the brakes and explain the findings so you can make an informed decision.

01 / INSPECT

Check the system.

Have pad wear, rotor condition and related brake components assessed. A symptom alone doesn’t tell the whole story.

02 / EXPLAIN

Understand the recommendation.

Discuss what needs attention, the recommended parts and the quote for parts and labour before deciding on repairs.

03 / SERVICE

Care matched to your vehicle.

Our Ford-trained technicians can carry out the approved work using the correct procedures and parts for your Ford.

Notice a change?

Listen to your brakes.
Then talk to us.

New noises or a different braking feel deserve attention. Let our team know when the concern happens and whether it changes with speed or pedal pressure.

If braking performance is reduced, the pedal suddenly sinks, or the vehicle feels unsafe to stop, pull over safely and arrange assistance rather than driving to the dealership.

  • Squealing or grindingA new or persistent sound when you apply the brakes.
  • Shaking or vibrationA pulse in the pedal or movement in the steering wheel while braking.
  • Pulling or grabbingThe vehicle pulls to one side or the brakes engage unevenly.
  • A different pedal feelThe pedal feels softer, harder or less responsive than usual.

Value for the road ahead

Ask about lifetime
brake pad coverage.

Eligible genuine Ford or Motorcraft® replacement brake pads may qualify for replacement-pad coverage for as long as you own the vehicle. Our Service Advisors can confirm eligibility and the applicable terms.

Know what’s covered.

  • Qualifying pads must have been purchased and installed at a participating Ford Dealer or Quick Lane service centre and remain on the original vehicle.
  • Retain proof of the original brake pad service. A dealer inspection determines whether replacement qualifies.
  • Coverage is for eligible brake pads only. Labour, rotor replacement or machining, and other brake components are excluded.

Coverage is subject to Ford Canada’s program requirements. Confirm your vehicle and parts eligibility with our team before service.

Confident decisions.

Why choose Motorcraft® brake parts?

They’re designed for Ford and Lincoln applications and backed by Ford engineering, testing and applicable warranty coverage. Our team can help identify the right Motorcraft® parts for your Ford.

Do I need new rotors with new pads?

That depends on rotor condition, measurements and your vehicle’s requirements. Our technicians can inspect the brakes and explain whether replacement or another service is appropriate.

How much does brake service cost?

Pricing varies by vehicle and the work required. Ask for a quote covering recommended parts, labour, applicable fees and taxes after inspection.

Is the entire brake repair covered for life?

No. Eligible lifetime coverage applies to replacement brake pads, subject to program requirements. Labour, rotors and other components are excluded.

When should I have my brakes checked?

Follow your vehicle’s maintenance schedule and arrange an inspection if you notice a change in braking. Tell us about any noises, vibration or pedal concerns when booking.
