Ford Performance Releases OEM Lowering Kit For F-150 PowerBoost Models

Street-focused pickups are making a comeback, and Ford is leaning into that trend with a new factory-backed option for hybrid truck owners. Those who drive a Ford F-150 equipped with the PowerBoost hybrid powertrain can now lower their trucks using official OEM components straight from the Ford Performance catalog.

The new Ford F-150 PowerBoost rear lowering kit is listed under part number M-3000-PB4 and carries a retail price of $314. Designed specifically for hybrid-equipped trucks, the kit lowers the rear ride height by 1.5 inches, giving the F-150 a more aggressive and level stance that better suits street-oriented builds.

The kit includes laser-cut steel lowering shackles paired with urethane bushings and incorporates several durability upgrades. These include a grease fitting on the lower shackle tube, a dedicated bushing grease groove, and improved DOM center tube tolerances to enhance long-term performance and serviceability.

Compatibility includes 2021 through 2026 Ford F-150 PowerBoost models in SuperCab or SuperCrew configurations, with either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The kit does not fit F-150 Raptor, Tremor, or Lightning models, though none of those trims are offered with the PowerBoost hybrid system.

For owners interested in going the opposite direction, Ford Performance also offers a factory-developed off-road suspension solution for the PowerBoost. That system was engineered in partnership with Bilstein and includes tuned coilovers featuring a 60 mm digressive piston and 2.65-inch monotube design. Remote rear reservoirs with independent dividing pistons help manage nitrogen chambers and suspension travel, while lifting the front of the truck by two inches to level the stance.

Whether owners are chasing a lower, sport-truck look or improved off-road capability, Ford Performance continues to expand its lineup of OEM-approved suspension options for the F-150 PowerBoost.
