Ford Bronco Owners Can Now Add Raptor’s Skid Plates in a Single Kit

Ford Bronco owners can now upgrade their off-road protection with genuine Raptor hardware. The Ford Bronco Raptor skid plate kit has officially joined the Blue Oval’s accessories catalog, giving 2021–2026 Bronco owners a factory-engineered option to protect their SUV’s underbody when tackling tough terrain.

Listed under part number M-5018-BR4, the kit retails for $1,055 (USD) and includes the same front, under-engine, transmission, and transfer case skid plates used on the Bronco Raptor. It also comes with a powder-coated skid plate adaptor, a transmission shield cross brace bracket, and all required mounting hardware.

To install the kit, Broncos must be equipped with either the steel or modular front bumper. While the kit delivers full underbody protection, the Raptor’s fuel tank skid plate — introduced earlier this year — must be purchased separately for an additional $395 (USD) to complete the full setup.

These OEM skid plates are more than just cosmetic. They provide vital protection for key drivetrain components against rocks, debris, and rough trail obstacles. For anyone who regularly takes their Bronco off-road, it’s a worthwhile investment — offering peace of mind and potentially saving thousands in repair costs.

The Bronco Raptor skid plate kit is available now through Ford dealers and official parts distributors. Whether for added confidence on rocky trails or simply to give your Bronco a tougher look, it’s an upgrade that blends performance, practicality, and authentic Built Wild engineering.
