2026 Ford Super Duty Adds Optional Jump Start System for Extra Peace of Mind

The 2026 Ford Super Duty is set to introduce several practical updates that enhance both convenience and usability across its lineup. One standout addition is the availability of a GB70 Battery Jump Start System by NOCO—an optional dealer-installed accessory designed to give Super Duty owners added confidence in the event of a dead battery. This tool adds an extra layer of peace of mind, especially for those who rely on their heavy-duty trucks in remote or demanding environments.

Available across all Super Duty trims and configurations, including the F-250, F-350, and F-450, this battery jump starter delivers 2,000 amps of power and can restart a vehicle in seconds. Built for gasoline engines up to 8.0L and diesel engines up to 6.0L, the GB70 is water-resistant, spark-proof, and encased in a rugged rubberized shell. Although Ford has yet to disclose official pricing, the NOCO unit retails for $199.95 USD independently and includes a durable carrying case.

In addition to the jump starter system, the 2026 Super Duty lineup will see a shift in standard drivetrains. Select trims, including XLT and Lariat, will now come standard with rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive available as an optional upgrade. This change is expected to appeal to customers looking for lower entry costs and more configuration flexibility depending on regional needs or fleet demands.

Ford is also expanding availability for popular packages like the STX Appearance Package and Tremor Off-Road Package, further increasing customization options. As production ramps up, Super Duty trucks will continue rolling out from three Ford plants, including the Oakville Assembly plant in Canada, ensuring strong North American production support for one of Ford’s most relied-upon nameplates.
