2026 Ford F-150 Lightning STX Brings Off-Road Strength to the Electric Era

The 2026 Ford F-150 Lightning STX is here, and it’s bringing serious off-road attitude to the electric truck world. Ford says customers have been asking for a tougher, more adventurous Lightning, and now it’s answering the call with a version that combines rugged performance and cutting-edge EV power.

Replacing the XLT in the lineup, the new F-150 Lightning STX comes equipped with a host of off-road upgrades. These include 18-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler all-terrain tires, a rear e-locking differential, and Tremor-style running boards. Power comes from dual electric motors producing 536 horsepower and 775 pound-feet of torque, backed by the extended-range battery pack for an EPA-estimated 290 miles of range.

Visually, the STX stands out with blue grille accents, unique bedside and hood graphics, and rugged yet refined touches throughout the cabin. Inside, drivers will find cloth seats with Grabber Blue STX embroidery, a heated steering wheel, and an optional black vinyl floor for easy cleanup after off-road adventures.

The 2026 Lightning lineup also gains new exterior colors, including Argon Blue, Marsh Gray, and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, joining favorites like Agate Black Metallic, Carbonized Gray, and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat.

Deliveries for the 2026 F-150 Lightning STX are expected to begin in early 2026, and Ford anticipates strong demand from both current Lightning owners and new buyers seeking a more capable, trail-ready EV.

With this new STX trim, Ford is proving that electric trucks can be just as bold, capable, and Built Ford Tough as their gas-powered counterparts — only now, they do it with zero emissions.
