Ford Charge Launches: Dealer-Backed EV Fast Charging Network Expands Nationwide

Ford is taking another big step forward in supporting electric vehicle adoption with the launch of Ford Charge, a dealer-backed fast charging network now available across the United States. This new initiative builds on Ford’s commitment to making EV ownership more convenient while giving dealerships a stronger role in the EV ecosystem.

At launch, Ford Charge includes 1,200 Ford-branded fast chargers across 320 dealerships nationwide. Importantly, the network isn’t limited to Ford EV owners—drivers of any compatible EV, regardless of brand, can plug in and benefit. The very first Ford Charge station went live at Grappone Ford in Bow, New Hampshire, and the rollout is expanding quickly across the country.

Ford Charge is integrated into the existing BlueOval Charge Network, which gives EV drivers access to charging stations within 18 miles of most U.S. highways. Charger locations, pricing, and real-time availability can be tracked using the BlueOval Charge Network, PlugShare, or the Shell app. Many Ford Charge locations also operate 24/7, offering drivers even more flexibility.

Adding to its appeal, Ford Charge also provides round-the-clock live agent support. Any user can call a dedicated help line if they encounter issues during a charging session, ensuring peace of mind on road trips and daily commutes alike. By combining accessibility, reliability, and customer support, Ford Charge makes EV charging easier than ever before and represents another forward-looking step in Ford’s electrification strategy.
