How Do You Charge an EV?

Charging basics. This page will give a high-level, introductory overview of what it means to charge an EV.

• 
  Level 1:  A regular 120V wall plug.  It recharges about 40 to 50 km of range overnight.
• Level 2: A 240V plug, like a dryer or a stove.  It will recharge most of your battery overnight.
• Level 3: Also called DC Fast Charging, this is what you use at public charging stations when you need a quick boost.
