2027 Ford Bronco Filson First Edition Debuts As Exclusive Limited-Run Model

Ford is expanding its Bronco lineup with a new premium, adventure-focused model, and now an even more exclusive version has arrived. The 2027 Ford Bronco Filson First Edition has officially debuted as a limited-run variant that combines Bronco’s legendary off-road capability with unique styling and exclusive features inspired by the iconic outdoor outfitter.

Unlike the original 2021 Bronco First Edition, Ford is not placing a fixed production cap on the new Filson First Edition. Instead, production will be matched to customer demand, though the model will only be available for the 2027 model year and sold exclusively in North America. That exclusivity is likely to make it one of the most sought-after Broncos in recent years.

What sets the Bronco Filson First Edition apart is a collection of unique touches both inside and out. Buyers will have access to an exclusive Iron Sands Metallic exterior colour, distinctive fender badging, and a serialized console plaque that highlights the vehicle’s limited-edition status. Filson-inspired cargo storage bags, which are optional on the standard Filson model, come standard on the First Edition as well.

The Bronco Filson itself was developed through a partnership between Ford and Seattle-based outdoor brand Filson. The SUV blends premium materials, enhanced comfort, and rugged off-road capability into one package. It features the Sasquatch Package, advanced trail technologies, unique interior materials, and a version of Ford’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 engine.

Ford says order banks for the Bronco Filson will open this fall, with deliveries expected to begin in early 2027. The company is also launching a Bronco x Filson merchandise collection and plans to take the vehicle on a multi-city tour so enthusiasts can experience it in person.

For Bronco fans looking for something truly unique, the Filson First Edition represents a compelling combination of capability, exclusivity, and outdoor-inspired design. It continues Ford’s tradition of creating special-edition Broncos that appeal to enthusiasts while pushing the brand further into the premium adventure space.
