Ford continues to elevate the connected driving experience with its new Digital Experience software, now available in a growing number of refreshed and redesigned Ford vehicles. Developed in collaboration with Google, this next-generation infotainment system emphasizes personalization, connectivity, and app integration. One of the most exciting additions to the platform is the new Zoom Meeting app—perfect for drivers who want to stay productive on the move.
The Zoom app, now part of the Ford Digital Experience suite, allows users to join and manage meetings directly from the vehicle’s center display. When parked, the screen displays upcoming meetings, participant video, and shared content. On the road, drivers can join meetings in audio-only mode and even transfer meetings from a phone to the car with a single tap, allowing for seamless transitions between workspaces.
This enhancement makes Ford vehicles even more versatile for busy professionals, students, and families who rely on video conferencing. It also demonstrates Ford’s commitment to innovation in everyday convenience and digital connectivity. A Connectivity plan is required to enable full functionality of the Zoom app, which is now available to download.
This update is part of a broader rollout of smart apps and features on the Ford and Lincoln Digital Experience platform, including Road.Travel for interactive driving tours, WebEx for business meetings, retro gaming, karaoke, and real-time sports scores via a SiriusXM widget. Ford’s ever-evolving tech suite reinforces its leadership in smart vehicle technology and digital innovation.
