Ford continues to explore new performance territory with its compact pickup lineup, and the latest example comes straight from the 2025 SEMA Show. The Ford Maverick 300T project vehicle has officially debuted, showcasing what an ST-inspired Maverick could look like when performance takes center stage.

Known as the Ford Maverick 300T Ford Custom Garage project vehicle, this build takes the street-focused Maverick Lobo formula and turns the dial up significantly. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 2.0L EcoBoost engine producing 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, representing a healthy increase over the standard output. These gains come from a series of Ford-approved upgrades, including a Mustang EcoBoost turbocharger with a larger compressor wheel, a ProCal 4 performance calibration, a Mishimoto intercooler, and a Borla sport cat-back exhaust.

The performance improvements extend beyond the powertrain. The Maverick 300T rides on the Lobo’s performance-tuned suspension setup, including lowering springs, monotube dampers, upgraded bushings, and a revised stabilizer bar. The truck also wears 20×8-inch Mach-E GT wheels finished with black chrome lug nuts. While tires are not included in the Ford Custom Garage kit, Ford recommends high-performance 245/45R20 rubber to match the truck’s handling upgrades.

Visually, the Maverick 300T stands apart with a bold appearance package. Exterior enhancements include an Air Design front spoiler, unique graphics, Ford Performance fender vents, Tufskinz tailgate lettering, and Ford Performance floor mats inside. Buyers will be able to choose between black or bronze styling themes, allowing for further personalization.
The Maverick 300T project truck is on display at the Ford Performance Parts booth at SEMA 2025, but this is not just a show-only concept. Ford has confirmed that customers will be able to purchase the same upgrade package for their own Mavericks through Ford Custom Garage. The turbo upgrade is designed to be 50-state legal and is backed by a 3-year or 36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician. Pricing has not yet been announced.
