Ford is adding even more personalization and tech to its heavy-duty lineup with the upcoming 2026 Ford Super Duty, and one standout feature is sure to catch your eye—literally. For the first time ever, the Super Duty will offer an optional illuminated front emblem, giving owners a sleek and stylish way to show off their Ford pride, especially at night. The illuminated Blue Oval will be offered as a dealer-installed option (DIO), rather than a factory-installed one, and is expected to follow the example set by the Ford F-150, which offers this feature for around $309 USD.
Beyond the glow-up, the 2026 Super Duty also receives a handful of functional and convenience-focused updates. While 4X4 will now be optional (rather than standard) on XLT and Lariat trims, rear-wheel drive (RWD) will become the new standard. Additional connectivity changes and the return of the factory-installed SecuriCode keyless entry keypad add to the usability of this workhorse.
Ford isn’t stopping there—the 2026 Super Duty will come with a standard tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) across all trims and a dealer-installed battery jump-start pack. Ford is also expanding customization options, with broader availability of the STX Appearance Package and Tremor Off-Road Package, which will now be available on more trims as a late-release option.
Audiophiles will appreciate the new Kicker subwoofer option, offered on SuperCab and Crew Cab models. It’s a dealer-installed feature for non-chassis cab pickups, though it won’t be available with the XLT Premium Package. Overall, these updates showcase Ford’s continued commitment to blending utility, comfort, and bold styling in the Super Duty series.
