The Ford F-250 Super Duty has earned top honors in the full-size 3/4 ton pickup category in the latest Vincentric Best Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Value in America Awards. Recognized for its remarkable ability to minimize maintenance, operating, and total ownership costs, the F-250 Super Duty continues to stand out as a reliable and economical choice for used truck buyers. The model’s ownership costs were noted to be 2.8% lower than expected, helping it outperform three other competitors in its segment.
The F-250 Super Duty wasn’t the only Ford vehicle to shine in this year’s awards. Ford secured individual wins for six models across various categories, including the Ford Maverick Hybrid in the small/mid-size pickup segment, the Ford Expedition in the large SUV class, and the F-150 Lightning in the full-size half-ton pickup space. These accolades reinforce Ford’s reputation for producing durable, cost-efficient vehicles that retain their value over time.
Vincentric’s evaluation process is rigorous, analyzing ownership costs across eight factors: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. Each vehicle was assessed across all 50 U.S. states and Washington D.C., with annual mileage assumptions of 15,000 miles over five years. This comprehensive approach highlights vehicles like the F-250 Super Duty, which excel in both affordability and performance within their respective markets.
