2027 Bronco RTR Brings High-Speed Off-Road Performance To The Lineup

The collaboration between Ford and RTR Vehicles continues to evolve, and the newly announced 2027 Bronco RTR is the latest proof. Developed and tested in Johnson Valley, the Bronco RTR blends competition-inspired high-speed off-road performance with bold styling and strong value, expanding the performance-focused side of the Bronco family.

Drawing inspiration from Formula Drift and Ultra4 off-road racing, the Bronco RTR is designed to deliver thrills in fast, open terrain. It is based on the Big Bend trim and powered by a 2.3L EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. What sets it apart is its Raptor-inspired wide-track, high-clearance suspension, which improves stability and confidence when driving at speed off road.

Performance technology plays a major role in the Bronco RTR’s character. Standard 33-inch rugged-terrain tires provide strong grip, while race-derived, software-operated anti-lag turbo technology helps maintain boost even when the driver is off throttle. This results in sharper throttle response when navigating constantly changing terrain. A high-output cooling fan sourced from the Bronco Raptor also helps keep performance consistent in demanding conditions.

For drivers looking to push capability even further, the available Sasquatch Package adds 35-inch Goodyear rugged-terrain tires and the HOSS 3.0 suspension system from the Badlands. This combination unlocks even more off-road confidence, making the Bronco RTR equally at home blasting across desert trails or tackling technical terrain.

Styling is unmistakably RTR. The Bronco RTR features beadlock-capable 17-inch RTR Evo 6 wheels, a unique RTR grille with signature lighting, and bold Hyper Lime accents across the graphics, grille, rock rings, and trail sights. The result is a Bronco that looks every bit as aggressive as it performs.

The 2027 Bronco RTR is set to arrive as a new model-year offering, with pricing to be announced when order banks open in October 2026. Deliveries are expected to begin in January 2027, giving off-road enthusiasts another exciting, performance-focused option in the ever-growing Bronco lineup.
