Vincentric’s evaluation process for these awards is rigorous, examining ownership costs across eight key factors: depreciation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. Using a statistical model, the organization identifies vehicles that deliver lower-than-expected ownership costs for their segment and price range. Each vehicle is analyzed across all 50 U.S. states and Washington D.C., using data for various mileage intervals and insurance profiles over a five-year period with an assumption of 15,000 miles driven annually.

Ford trucks excelled in multiple segments, reinforcing their reputation as smart choices for CPO buyers. The Ford F-250 Super Duty triumphed in the full-size 3/4 ton pickup category, while the Maverick Hybrid led the small/mid-size pickup segment. The F-150 Lightning secured top honors in the full-size half-ton pickup space, and the F-350 Super Duty claimed victory in the 1-ton pickup division.
