2025 Ford Super Duty Adds Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring Packages
Posted on October 12, 2024
The 2025 Ford Super Duty is adding even more features to its already impressive lineup, including the new trailer tire pressure monitoring system available through a variety of dealer-installed packages. These packages enhance the Super Duty’s towing capabilities, catering to drivers who frequently haul trailers. For instance, the Aux Camera and Trailer TPMS package is available for $980 USD on XL and XLT trims, requiring the 360-Degree Camera. For those with the STX Appearance Package or XLT Premium Package, additional options include the Trailer TPMS and Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck BLIS package, which costs $1,700 USD and also includes the 360-Degree Camera.
There are even more trailer monitoring options, like the Aux Camera Trailer TPMS and Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck BLIS package, available for $1,330 USD on specific trims, and an Individual Trailer TPMS package for $580 USD. These new packages, along with other notable updates for the 2025 model year, make the Super Duty more versatile for towing. The heavy-duty truck has also ditched some chrome elements in favor of a sleeker look, especially in the Platinum trim, which now features a painted black grille and body-color door handles.
In addition to exterior updates, the 2025 Ford Super Duty offers luxurious interior improvements. The Platinum trim gets a new Black Onyx theme with Platinum Blue accents, while the Platinum Plus Package adds a satin finish grille, Venetian Leather seating, and Max Recline seats. These updates make the Super Duty a standout for both style and comfort, especially for long trips and heavy-duty work. Other changes include the Lariat trim replacing leather upholstery with ActiveX, and the elimination of some configurations, such as the SuperCab with a 148-inch wheelbase and SuperCab Lariat models.
Under the hood, the 2025 Ford Super Duty offers strong powertrain options. The 6.8L V8 is now standard on XL, XLT, and Lariat trims, while the 7.3L V8 comes standard on King Ranch and Platinum models. Although pricing has largely remained stable, the Lariat trim has seen a notable increase for 2025. Production for the new Super Duty is set to begin in December 2024 at the Kentucky Truck plant, followed by the Ohio Assembly plant in January 2025.
