2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Gets More Storage vs. 2024: Pics

The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E is set to hit the market with several updates that enhance both functionality and appeal. While it doesn’t feature a full midcycle refresh, Ford has introduced new elements, including a standard heat pump for better energy efficiency and an available Sport Appearance Package for the Premium trim. The updated model also includes a design change that maximizes center console storage, adding more utility to this electric crossover.

One of the most noticeable interior changes in the 2025 Mustang Mach-E is the replacement of the rotary dial shifter with a new monostable stalk shifter, now mounted on the steering column. This redesign frees up valuable console space, which Ford designers utilized creatively. They relocated buttons for emergency flashers, parking sensors, and the parking brake, creating a new compartment for storing small items like phones or drinks—a practical upgrade for drivers and passengers.

In terms of tech, the 2025 Mach-E will debut Ford’s latest BlueCruise 1.5, which includes upcoming features like Automatic Lane Change, adding to its suite of driver assistance capabilities. However, the model will lose some features found in previous versions, including the MyKey safety customization feature and the windshield wiper deicer. Despite these trade-offs, the updated Mach-E offers a more streamlined experience.

Scheduled to begin production in early January 2025, the 2025 Mustang Mach-E will be available at a more affordable starting price of $36,495 USD, excluding destination charges, which is lower than the current entry-level Select trim’s starting MSRP of $39,995 USD. This lower price point, combined with practical upgrades, positions the 2025 Mach-E as a strong competitor in the electric SUV market.
