2025 Ford Bronco Trims Get Standard Heated Steering Wheel

The sixth-generation Ford Bronco continues to evolve with an exciting lineup of updates for the 2025 model year. Although it hasn’t received a mid-cycle refresh, Ford has rolled out a significant set of changes for the Bronco, including new exterior color options, feature updates, and a refined trim lineup. These adjustments not only expand the Bronco’s offerings but also bring added comfort, such as a heated steering wheel now standard on the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Raptor trims. Previously part of the High/Lux Package (now renamed the Lux Package), the heated steering wheel now enhances the cold-weather readiness of these popular trims.

Additionally, ambient footwell lighting, which used to be part of the Mid Package, now comes standard across the entire 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. This subtle but welcome feature provides extra visibility and style, giving the cabin a warm, modern feel. These updates are complemented by a broader selection of options that cater to every kind of adventurer, whether you’re after comfort-focused features or rugged off-road capabilities.

Ford has also made notable changes to the Bronco’s trim levels, reworking the lineup to streamline options. The Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage Limited, and Black Diamond trims have been removed, though the Black Diamond moniker lives on as an optional package. In place of the Wildtrak, the new Stroppe Edition now takes its place, paying tribute to the Bronco’s off-road legacy, and the retro-inspired Free Wheeling Package debuts, giving buyers another nostalgic choice. The Bronco Base model is also back for 2025, appealing to drivers who prefer a simpler, more classic setup.

Beyond these changes, other features have been refreshed for 2025. The standard 12-inch digital gauge cluster now enhances the driver’s experience, while the Bronco Badlands trim has gained the HOSS 3.0 suspension as an option for improved off-road performance. Four-door models with the 10-speed automatic transmission now have repositioned rear HVAC vents for enhanced airflow, while the lineup has discontinued wireless charging pads and most grab handles. Finally, the 2025 Bronco Raptor adds three new color options, although it also says farewell to six other hues. With these updates, the Ford Bronco remains a top choice for drivers seeking style, comfort, and serious off-road capability.
