The 2025 Ford Bronco lineup is set to bring some exciting changes and fresh options for fans of this iconic off-roader. According to Ford Authority, the model's trim levels are undergoing a revamp, with the Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition trims stepping down. In their place, Ford is introducing some new alternatives, such as the return of the Base trim and the addition of the Stroppe Edition, which essentially takes the place of the Wildtrak. Notably, the Black Diamond trim may be gone, but its name lives on as a new optional package for the Big Bend trim.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Big Bend Black Diamond package (51D) is an upgrade that brings plenty of rugged additions to the Big Bend trim. Drawing inspiration from the popular Bronco Sport Black Diamond package, this new offering is tailored specifically for off-road enthusiasts who want more capability without upgrading to a higher trim level. It adds powder-coated steel bumpers, steel bash plates, LED fog lamps, rock rails, and sleek 17-inch black high-gloss aluminum wheels. The interior also gets a boost with overhead auxiliary switches, front grab handles, and rubberized flooring for a more rugged feel.
This Black Diamond package mirrors its Bronco Sport sibling, which includes similar equipment for those interested in extra durability and off-road performance. On the Bronco Sport, the package also includes a unique black grille with white “Bronco” lettering, rock rails, and specialized LT265/70R17 tires. The cabin is equally ready for adventure with auxiliary switches and a Terrain Management system that features seven GOAT modes. With the same spirit, the Bronco Big Bend Black Diamond package elevates the Big Bend trim with even more off-road essentials.
Beyond the new Black Diamond package, the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup is getting additional updates. The retro-inspired Free Wheeling Package makes an appearance, and all models now feature a 12-inch digital gauge cluster as standard. In four-door models with the 10-speed automatic transmission, rear HVAC vents have moved from the floor to the center console, though the lineup has seen a reduction in grab handles. For the Bronco Raptor, Ford is introducing three new colors: Marsh Gray, Desert Sand, and Ruby Red, while phasing out six others, including Cactus Gray and Iconic Silver. The 2025 Bronco lineup brings new options and modern upgrades, keeping this classic vehicle exciting for its next generation of fans.
