2024 Ford F-150 Tremor Beats Key Rivals In New Comparison

The Ford F-Series has long been a leader in the pickup truck market, and the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor continues this tradition. The F-Series, including both the F-150 and Ford Super Duty models, consistently outperforms its competitors, offering exceptional technology and class-leading capability. Recently, the 2024 F-150 Tremor was tested against the Chevy Silverado Trail Boss and Ram 1500 Rebel in an off-road comparison by Edmunds, where it once again proved its dominance.

The test focused on the performance of these three off-road-focused pickups, which are designed to handle tough terrain but aren't as extreme as models like the F-150 Raptor. Edmunds noted that the Silverado Trail Boss, while the least expensive option at $68,550 USD, struggled in the tests despite its lower price point. The Ram 1500 Rebel, priced at $81,835 USD, offered strong performance but still couldn't match the comfort and capability of the F-150 Tremor, which came in at $81,865 USD.

In the hill climb test, the F-150 Tremor was the standout performer, easily crawling up the hill with a smooth ride, while both the Silverado and Ram exhibited rougher rides and required more effort to complete the task. The F-150 also excelled in suspension articulation, further showcasing its superior off-road flexibility. While the Rebel performed best in the river run due to its powerful engine, the Tremor still triumphed overall by winning two of the three tests.

This victory adds to the growing list of comparison wins for the Ford F-150, solidifying its position as the top choice in the full-size truck segment. Edmunds also praised the F-150 for offering the best interior comfort and technology suite in its class, further reinforcing Ford’s commitment to delivering a well-rounded, high-performance pickup.
