When you first glance at the 2022 Expedition, your eyes will immediately get drawn towards the newly redesigned front end. The front fascia has a more aggressive look this year. Interior Design
The Expedition features a spacious and luxurious cabin. This three-row SUV is able to seat up to eight passengers. In some trims, the second row comes with available captain's chairs that can recline to provide an added level of comfort. There is also plenty of legroom in all three rows, and there is a large rear cargo area that is large enough to haul all of your luggage and other gear.
This year, the interior has a more modern design that features high-end materials. The cabin comes standard with soft, cloth seats. However, genuine leather seats and luxurious interior trim are available.
High-Tech Entertainment
This year, every Expedition model comes standard with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment display; however, an extra-large 155-inch touchscreen display is also available. Both displays come standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. There is also an available rear entertainment system that will keep the backseat passengers occupied. There is also an available Band & Olufsen sound system that comes with 22 strategically placed speakers.

However, different models have tweaked the engine slightly to provide different performance levels. The standard engine delivers 380 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque; the Limited trim delivers up to 400 horsepower and 480 lb.-ft of torque. The vehicle can also be equipped with an available Stealth Performance package which provides 440 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft of torque.
