Everything about my trip to Key West was great, Peter Olson, Wes Upton & Nicholas Terezakis were amazing to deal with. Super patient guys with a knack for customer service, never once did I feel like I was at a normal dealership, these guys made the car buying process super easy and not stressful.

My New Favourite Dealership!

My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for a new SUV, and we ended up being helped by Rob Vanoverschot. I was nervous about going to a dealership as I'd never purchased off of a lot before - and Rob made the process a breeze! He answered all of our questions and never made us feel pressured at all! We test drove about 6 different makes and models and fell in love with a 2019 Ford Escape. I would highly recommend Rob and Key West Ford, even the financing department and insurance department made this process enjoyable! Not to mention they had the best prices around - and we came all the way out from Abbotsford!

I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.

F350 truck

I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.

We Scare Hunger: 2017

October is now the season of giving - with Ford launching a national campaign to strengthen communities. The We Scare Hunger event (which runs from the 1st to the 31st) provides relief to those in need, partnering with local food banks to ensure healthy meals for families. More importantly, it also offers hope for the holidays.

Key West Ford wishes to bring that hope to our city - which is why we’re proudly participating in the We Scare Hunger event. Throughout the month we’ll provide our customers with easy ways to donate to New Westminster:

Initiative One: The WE Organization

Key West Ford and the WE Organization are joining forces for the We Scare Hunger event - seeking to inspire youths and empower communities. Throughout October we’re asking students to donate their time, energy, and canned goods to this worthy cause.

Who Can Participate: Any school group (including sports teams, extracurricular clubs, or homeroom classes).

When: October 1st to October 31st.

How: All groups must first register with our team (contact mary@keywestford.com for eligibility requirements). Then they must collect as many dry and canned goods as possible, taking care to track their donation intakes on their official We Scare Hunger posters.

Why is this important? To show our gratitude, Key West Ford will give $1,000 to the winning school - as well as movie passes to each participating student from that school. We believe that generosity should be rewarded, and we wish to thank those who rallied for this event.

It’s crucial, therefore, to keep an accurate tally of all donations. Each poster will be collected at the end of the month and our team will calculate the results - announcing the winners on November 3, 2017.

When: All filled boxes will be picked up by one of our staffers each week.

Initiative Two: Help From The Hyacks

In addition to our partnership with the WE Organization, we’re also teaming with the NWSS Hyacks - a football club that will help us score a victory against hunger.

We encourage our customers to visit Mercer Stadium during each Hyacks home-game (October 13th, 7:30 p.m.; October 20th, 5:00 p.m.). Those who provide a dry good donation will receive free entry at the gate, as well as assist the efforts of local food banks.

The NWSS team is also participating in our WE Organization initiative and challenges every on-field rival to do the same.

Initiative Three: Driver Drop-Offs

While We Scare Hunger is intended to bring students together across the Lower Mainland, we hope that their parents will also join the fight. Key West Ford will host a drop-off box in our showroom so that our customers may participate in this event. We welcome all donations, including:

Canned Fish, Chicken, or Turkey.
Canned Black Beans, Chickpeas, or Kidney Beans.
Nuts and Seeds.
Natural Peanut Butter.
Brown Rice, Barley, or Whole Wheat Pasta.
Powdered Skim Milk.
Canned Vegetables.
Stews.

Please bring these items to our showroom.

October is no longer just for tricks and treats. It’s instead a time to offer relief to those who need it most. To learn more about how your efforts will impact New Westminster families contact us today.
