Peter Olson was a great person to deal with. He was very accommodating & always willing to help even after the sale was finalized. I've dealt with many sales personnel in my life but none as helpful as Peter Olson. Great job.

Rewarding Experience
Key West Ford’s sales team ( my main contact Peter Olson) were a pleasure to deal with when I recently went looking to replace my 8 year old F150 pick up. Peter was very thorough in showing and explaining the dealerships new and pre owned vehicles as well as what new vehicles were available at other lower mainland dealers. I left the dealership to think about my options returning a few days later and purchased a great 1 year old ,well optioned pick up , exactly what I was looking for ! I’d like to thank Peter for answering all my questions on comparisons between different models, options, new or pre- owned, I’d also like to thank Michelle for making the “ paper work “ very easy to get through.
Qucik and professional.

Used Vehicle Buying Tip: Inspect the Tires

(Posted on Nov 7, 2017 at 05:39PM by Michelle Bogle)
When buying a preowned vehicle, the tires can tell you a lot about how a car or truck was maintained. Rubber that is worn, uneven or damaged can be a sign of neglect or a serious mechanical issue, while new tires can be a red flag for a cover-up. Either way, it’s best to always inspect the tires of a used vehicle before you buy so you don’t experience any surprises down the road.
Want to know what signs to watch out for? Here are some tips from the experts at Consumer Reports:
Mismatched or incorrectly sized tires: Manufacturers recommend using the same make and model of tires on all four corners of a vehicle for optimal ride quality and handling. The tire size must also match what’s on the tire information placard on the driver’s door jam. If you notice discrepancies, proceed with caution.
Insufficient tire tread: Tires must have at least 2/32-inches of tread remaining to provide traction and grip on all road surfaces. If the rubber measures below this reading, all four tires must be replaced. You can check the depth with a tire gauge or use a toonie:
Uneven wear: All tires come with a recommended inflation pressure to ensure proper wear. If a tire is over-inflated, the rubber along the centre tread will be worn, but if a tire is under-inflated, the rubber will show wear on the outside shoulder. Uneven wear can also be a red flag of aggressive cornering or infrequent tire rotations.
Date of manufacture: If the car is older with low mileage and the tires appear to have plenty of tread life, check the DOT date code on the lower sidewall of the tire. The last four digits indicate the week and year of manufacture. If the tires are more than six years old, replacement is necessary.
