Great Guy
Allan was awesome guy got me the best deal on F 150. I recommend him to anyone and the whole team is good people. Thanks guys !
Professional service
I bought my Jeep from there. It was the smoothest purchase i ever made. Tom was delightful. He wasn’t pushy as some sales people you might encounter. I’ve had a few sales people I dealt with a few dealership prior to buying my car and I made my decision with Ford because of this experience( I have to mention Hamid at Subaru Dealership at Boundary is also great.). Tom is very informative and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Tom and how professional him and his management team was. Go with these guys if you want to have a piece of mind.
Pleasant experiance in purchasing my new vehicle.
The total experience of purchasing my new vehicle from Allan was enjoyable. Allan was very informative explaining thing and did not push for a sale allowing me to come to the decision that the car I wanted was the right vehicle for me. Every one else I dealt with at Key West Ford was also very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely do it again when the time comes.
Very pleasant car purchase experience with Peter
Found a car online, called in and scheduled an appointment with Peter. He got the car prepared before we arrived and got us a great deal. Highly recommend!
great team
great guys. Rob set me up with a great truck, at a good price. when we were finishing, Ian came out and helped get the truck ready with paper work licence plates etc... Wes was a down to earth manager. I was impressed how these guys and everyone else in the sales department worked as a team. my truck was detailed perfectly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I have certainly found the dealership that I would do business with in the future.

Tips for Buying a Used Vehicle Privately in B.C.

(Posted on Apr 28, 2017 at 10:41AM by Michelle Bogle)
If you are shopping for a preowned vehicle and prefer to buy from a private seller versus a local dealership, you need to proceed with caution so that you aren’t taken advantage of or end up with a lemon.
Here are seven tips to keep in mind:
1. Ask questions: Find out how long the vehicle has been owned by the seller, if there are maintenance records and the reason for selling.
2. Request ID: Make sure that the seller’s information matches the vehicle’s ownership records.
3. Go for a test drive: One of the best ways to know if a used vehicle is in good operating condition is by going on an extensive test drive – on side streets, highways and even some bumpy terrain.
4. Do your research: Purchase a vehicle history report, such as a CarProof report, and review the information to ensure that there are no liens or issues with the vehicle.
5. Get it inspected: Before you buy any used vehicle from a private seller, have it inspected by a trusted mechanic to ensure that all safety systems are in good working order.
6. Ask for a receipt: Be sure it includes the seller’s information and the actual selling price, and be leery of anyone requesting cash.
7. Be mindful of “curbsiders”: These are often unlicensed dealers operating as private sellers – sellers that you do not want to deal with. Here’s more from the Motor Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia:
Rethinking your decision to buy privately? If so, consider visiting a reputable dealership, like Key West Ford. We provide all preowned buyers with a CarProof vehicle history report, as well as a 129-point safety and mechanical inspection for the utmost of peace of mind.
