Great Guy
Allan was awesome guy got me the best deal on F 150. I recommend him to anyone and the whole team is good people. Thanks guys !
Professional service
I bought my Jeep from there. It was the smoothest purchase i ever made. Tom was delightful. He wasn’t pushy as some sales people you might encounter. I’ve had a few sales people I dealt with a few dealership prior to buying my car and I made my decision with Ford because of this experience( I have to mention Hamid at Subaru Dealership at Boundary is also great.). Tom is very informative and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Tom and how professional him and his management team was. Go with these guys if you want to have a piece of mind.
Pleasant experiance in purchasing my new vehicle.
The total experience of purchasing my new vehicle from Allan was enjoyable. Allan was very informative explaining thing and did not push for a sale allowing me to come to the decision that the car I wanted was the right vehicle for me. Every one else I dealt with at Key West Ford was also very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely do it again when the time comes.
Very pleasant car purchase experience with Peter
Found a car online, called in and scheduled an appointment with Peter. He got the car prepared before we arrived and got us a great deal. Highly recommend!
great team
great guys. Rob set me up with a great truck, at a good price. when we were finishing, Ian came out and helped get the truck ready with paper work licence plates etc... Wes was a down to earth manager. I was impressed how these guys and everyone else in the sales department worked as a team. my truck was detailed perfectly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I have certainly found the dealership that I would do business with in the future.

What’s the Different Between AWD and 4WD?

(Posted on Dec 18, 2015 at 04:00PM by Michelle Bogle)
used ford cars trucks vancouver bcWhen purchasing a used vehicle, there are many factors to consider, like engine power, overall size, cargo capacity and standard features. But, there’s also drivetrains, including all-wheel drive (AWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Often used interchangeably, there are differences between the two, which can be confusing to car shoppers.

Let’s break it down, shall we?
Differences Between AWD and 4WD
AWD and 4WD operate in different ways:
AWD uses a front, rear and center differential to power all four wheels.
4WD uses two differentials and a transfer case to power all four wheels.
Vehicle Types
Different vehicles have different drivetrains:
AWD is found on cars and CUVs, like the Ford Fusion, Taurus, Flex and Edge
4WD is reserved for trucks and SUVs, like the Ford F-150, Escape and Explorer.
Benefits of AWD and 4WD
Better acceleration in wet, slippery conditions.
Improved traction and towing, especially on wet, steep or unpaved dirt roads.
Added resale value, especially in areas where the terrain requires 4WD or AWD.
Downsides of AWD and 4WD
Added costs when you factor in the price of the 4WD or AWD system.
Lower fuel economy and increased fuel costs, especially with heavier loads.
Higher maintenance costs, as differentials on AWD/4WD vehicles need oil changes.
Doesn’t improve braking or handling – that’s what good quality tires are for!
A Smart Choice
For cities like Vancouver, which receives a lot of precipitation throughout the year, AWD or 4WD is definitely something to consider. If you plan on regularly driving on unpaved dirt roads as well, AWD or 4WD is a must.
