Got a great 2018 F150
Very happy to deal with Jag. Got a new F150 at a great deal and he was able to close the deal within minutes. The truck was courtesy detailed and he made sure I had no questions before I left the dealership. Would deal with the dealership again in the future.
Fantastic deal and service on purchasing used vehicle
I was looking for good quality used car for my daughter who is attending University. Found car that she liked in excellent condition at Key West Ford dealership in New Westminster. Received fantastic deal from Jag who followed through with a minor servicing item before delivery. Jag was courteous to our family and pleasure to deal with. We appreciated keeping us apprised of detail and items through follow up. Great and friendly dealership of which I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a car to purchase.
No pessure!
Was a nice day a good deal and will go back in the near for another good deal! Had a nice follow up and much liked. Murray and Judy foley

Great experience
I just purchased a new truck from Key West. Robert Vanoverschot and Ivan Matulik actually made the process a pleasure. They listened to what I wanted, showed me some options across various price points, and then worked to get the perfect vehicle for me. No pressure, no up-sale, honest and I walked out knowing I got a good deal.
Nothing less than awesome!
Allan helped me out so much and went way out of his way to make sure that by the time I got to the dealership everything was ready to go after choosing my car, I couldn't be happier with the service and the product! Thank you so much for everything I'll be recommending you to everyone I know trying to get into a vehicle!
Ecosport Purchase
Allan helped us with getting the Ecosport and both my wife and I had a great experience with Allan he is easy to talk to and helpful. Luis

What’s the Different Between AWD and 4WD?

(Posted on Dec 18, 2015 at 04:00PM by Michelle Bogle)
used ford cars trucks vancouver bcWhen purchasing a used vehicle, there are many factors to consider, like engine power, overall size, cargo capacity and standard features. But, there’s also drivetrains, including all-wheel drive (AWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). Often used interchangeably, there are differences between the two, which can be confusing to car shoppers.

Let’s break it down, shall we?
Differences Between AWD and 4WD
AWD and 4WD operate in different ways:
AWD uses a front, rear and center differential to power all four wheels.
4WD uses two differentials and a transfer case to power all four wheels.
Vehicle Types
Different vehicles have different drivetrains:
AWD is found on cars and CUVs, like the Ford Fusion, Taurus, Flex and Edge
4WD is reserved for trucks and SUVs, like the Ford F-150, Escape and Explorer.
Benefits of AWD and 4WD
Better acceleration in wet, slippery conditions.
Improved traction and towing, especially on wet, steep or unpaved dirt roads.
Added resale value, especially in areas where the terrain requires 4WD or AWD.
Downsides of AWD and 4WD
Added costs when you factor in the price of the 4WD or AWD system.
Lower fuel economy and increased fuel costs, especially with heavier loads.
Higher maintenance costs, as differentials on AWD/4WD vehicles need oil changes.
Doesn’t improve braking or handling – that’s what good quality tires are for!
A Smart Choice
For cities like Vancouver, which receives a lot of precipitation throughout the year, AWD or 4WD is definitely something to consider. If you plan on regularly driving on unpaved dirt roads as well, AWD or 4WD is a must.
