We appreciated the telephone information provided by Jeff Upton when we were inquiring about a used truck. We needed to determine whether it had the heavy duty towing capabilities that we needed. Jeff went out of his way to do some digging to determine the vehicle's tow capacity and he provided helpful information that we could use to assess other vehicles as we continued our search. That vehicle didn't work out but we subsequently came in to look at another and was served by Peter Olson. He did a great job on intro and test drive, and again, did some backchecking with Nissan to determine if this vehicle had a factory installed tow package. We felt that the negotiation and pricing was fair and we didn't get the high pressure sales tactics that I hate so much. When we came back to pick up the vehicle the next day, Peter had gone out of his way to have the tow hitch, which was really rusty, painted! A real value-add and a pleasant surprise. Nick was great to deal with for the contract signing, very pleasant.
Promised great service and delivered.
Shopping a used sporty SUV for my wife met with Robert Klaus who did a great job on intro and test drive. Came back next day and completed the deal with Micheal and Michelle in finance. Peter Olson worked with Robert behind the scenes coordinating the whole adventure. Painless process, friendly low pressure easy to deal with folks. the whole team came out to see my wife off in her new car including all the management team and the owner himself, all stood there in the pouring rain to watch her drive away! Highly recommend Robert and Peter if youre out car shopping. old fashioned personal service gets it done.
My experience at Key West Ford
I will share here my experience with Key West Ford. I have spent more than 7 hours with Mr. Peter olson (salesman), he was incredibly patient with me, showed me more than 12 possibilities of vehicles (in my budget). After we pick some cars he took me to do 5 test drives with the vehicles what really helped me so much on my choice.
Today I just pick up my car at Key West Ford just all clean (little issues on the vehicle were fixed just as promissed to me) and with fuel only for me to drive. I would like to thank Mr Peter Olsen and Key West Ford Team.
Thank you so much.
Great service and price
Jeff spent a long time with us and was very friendly and patient without being pushy. We purchased a used car, and on delivery he noticed a warning light in the dash. The dealership took care of it promptly. After driving for a few weeks we’re very happy with our car. Highly recommended!
Friendly, honest and fast.
Sasha was great to deal with. He was informative, friendly and fun to deal with. He wasnt pushy at all. They were fair about pricing and the whole process was easy and quick. Nicholas who did my fianancing was a pleasure to deal with and I would have to say overall this was the best experience buying a new vehicle I have had.
Outstanding Customer Service & Popcorn
From the second I pulled into the parking lot the experience started... I was greeted as soon as I exit my vehicle and was shown vehicles that I was interested in... Customer Service is key for me and when I didn't received it to my standards at another dealership which was closer to home, I decided to try Key West Ford... I am happy to say that I made a smart decision and needless to say I left with a new vehicle that I'm very happy with... If you are looking for a new vehicle I highly recommend Key West Ford...
Organized and Quick
Second time buying a new truck with the guys at Key West Ford. I'm a busy person and they worked hard while I was unavailable to finalize my truck purchase. Peter Olson worked especially hard for me and I received what I asked for. Thank you!
The salesman was nice
I was so pleased with my experience here. I had my kids with me and it could have been worse. Arash was lovely to deal with. I didn’t feel like the manager really got us.
Great Better then before. Keep the good work up.
It was a great pleasure to have a sales person care about me as a client. The other workers at Keywest Ford were very present to deal with too. In the past the after care service was not good. The road proves slick - stretching out in endless wet miles, its yellow lines turned white from the frost. You frown, uncertain of how to proceed. Every press of the pedal so far has yielded only sliding, and you fear that your car simply can’t continue on.
We suggest finding a way to our dealership - and requesting winter tires.
The season demands much from cars, with plummeting temperatures forcing drivers to battle dying batteries and fizzling spark plugs. It’s crucial, therefore, to eliminate as much winter worry as possible; and snow tires prove the best way to do this. Visit Key West Ford today and allow us to connect you to the specialized tread patterns you need. These options defend against sudden skids, with their widened interlocks more efficiently slicing through ice. Carefully treated rubber resists the cold, maintaining its structural integrity; and the rims are reinforced to enhance overall stability.
This provides drivers with safer travels - with winter tires enhancing traction distribution to promote smooth revs. Navigating the highway, AutoBlog explains, will prove a far simpler task compared to relying on summer-specific options.
In need of a tread upgrade? Schedule an appointment with ours Parts Department today. We’ll gladly provide you with access to the perfect tires for your vehicle - as well as offer further winterizing solutions.
Across your windshield they come - twigs and leaves, stitched together with early morning rain. You frown, wanting to escape this seasonal onslaught; but, as you try to activate your car’s wiper blades, you realize this will prove quite difficult. They creak along the glass, pushing ineffectually at the debris and leaving messy streaks. This… is not what you want.
We think it’s time for an upgrade.
Come to Key West Ford! Our Parts Department will happily offer you access to a selection of blades - ensuring that your vehicle is ready for even the harshest downpour. We’ll inspect your current wipers, identifying any potential issues (such as compound cracks or joint stiffening); and then we’ll provide suggestions about available brands, styles, and even maintenance routines. You’ll soon be able to drive in full confidence.
Unsure how long it’s been since your last blade replacement? As How Stuff Works explains, riders should typically exchange wipers between every 12 to 18 months. This is due to constant exposure to extreme weather patterns - with both heat and snow wreaking havoc on rubber materials. Changing temperatures will cause the compounds to constrict, fissuring exteriors and leaving structures undermined. This ultimately weakens their mobility - rendering them incapable of performing a full sweeping motion and causing glass to remain dirty. It’s crucial, therefore, to schedule an appointment with our Parts Department to maintain visibility in the months to come.
Summer brings brutal heat and sticky humidity; winter summons sleet and salt. You’re grateful, therefore, for this brief fall reprieve - certain that your car will be safe for (at least) a few months.
This… is not quite true.
While a mild climate does indeed promise relief for your car, the Key West Ford team knows that now is the time for action (not rest). The structural integrity of each part - from the brake pads to the suspension joints, the tail-lights to the radiator seals - may be compromised: having been subjected to less-than-optimal summer conditions. Extreme heat can easily damage a vehicle, with UV rays affecting:
Cabin - exposure to sunlight impacts all soft-touch materials, causing leather to fade and vinyl to crack.
Tires - rising temperatures can create dramatic fluctuations in pressure, expanding and constricting the rubber until it weakens.
Battery - fluid will dissolve in the heat, leading to circuit sequence failures.
Summer can wreak havoc on vehicle parts - and this is why it proves essential to schedule a fall inspection. Allow our team to conduct a multi-point examination of your car, verifying the condition of each component to ensure that no problems will arise this winter. We’ll immediately note any concerns and will then create a custom strategy to counter them, providing road-worthy service for the season.

The smell is… unfortunate. You wince with every mile - nose wrinkling, mouth going tight. A terrible collection of dust, pollen, and debris is swirling around your cabin; and, with each huff of the air conditioner, it seems to somehow grow.
We think it’s time for a filter change.
As AA1 explains, the cabin filter serves as the barrier between drivers and the outside world - capturing unwanted particles as they try to push inside. It ensures superior air quality, helping to eliminate exposure to potential contaminants; and it also allows the conditioner unit to function at optimum levels. It's a crucial element to every mile.
Too often, however, do drivers simply… forget about the filter; and this leads to cabin complications. Overwhelmed by layers of dirt and allergens, this system will begin to fail. It will lose its ability to counter pollutants, instead letting them enter the car. Air quality will plummet; exposure will rise; and the tell-tale smell of bacteria will become an unwanted companion.
Don’t let this happen to you, Vancouver. Instead allow our Parts Department to supply you with a quality filter. We’ll offer the perfect match for your specific make and model, and our team will also happily install it for you. AA1 recommends a system replacement every three to four years (this number is less, however, for those that travel frequently on unpaved roads. Consider a new option annually then); and we’re ready to help you achieve better air.

It begins with a flicker. A tail-light blinks once, twice, and then seems to correct itself. You tense, wondering if the pattern will repeat; and you frown when it does, curious if this…. means anything.
Key West Ford knows that nothing lasts forever - including tail-lights. These bulbs prove as susceptible to everyday wear-and-tear as the rest of your car, and they will eventually need replacing. To determine whether your vehicle requires attention consider these two criteria:
How long has it been since you switched out your tail-lights? Traditional incandescent options typically burn for only five years, while LEDs can offer a longer span (up to twelve years). Those approaching these time-frames should replace the bulbs as a preventative measure.
Are your tail-lights prone to blinking or sudden failure? The filaments are most likely fraying (whether from exposure to constant road vibrations or corrosion), leaving the current too weak to maintain a steady stream.
The need for properly functioning tail-lights is undeniable - and, fortunately, easy to fulfill. Key West Ford serves as a premier OEM supplier and we can connect every driver to the proper illumination options (whether incandescent, LED, or even halogen). Allow us to first inspect your vehicle to ensure that the issue does not extend beyond the bulbs; and then let us install the parts for you, sparing you the frustration of tiny filaments and complicated packaging.

It’s a long sputter. Your engine whines its way to life, trying to rouse an ignition sequence. It fails once, twice, and again - before finally managing to secure a connection. You can hear the wheeze of every rev, though. Something is wrong.
The Key West team thinks it might be your spark plugs.
As How Stuff Works explains, spark plugs serve as the driving force of every engine - generating the currents needed to engage both fuel and air to achieve combustion. When these items start to fade, therefore, the entire chassis suffers.
How do you know when your plugs are failing? There are three key warning signs:
One: The car refuses to start.
Does your engine struggle to ignite? Corroded spark plugs are unable to provide a steady current, causing unresponsive batteries and frequent stalling.
Two: The car requires excessive fuel.
Unable to maintain its typical power-band, the engine will try to compensate by consuming fuel at greater rates. This will cause the gauge to fall with higher frequency and require drivers to constantly seek out stations.
Three: The car can’t accelerate quickly.
The engine will perform sluggishly, with its redline compromised. Acceleration will typically be accompanied by a rattling noise as well.
Failing spark plugs wreak havoc on a car - leaving drivers without the proper power. To ensure that your engine maintains optimal performance, therefore, we recommend visiting our Parts Department today. We’ll identify whether these wires are the cause of your troubles; and we’ll provide you with the quality replacements you need.
It’s an uneasy measurement. You squint at a tire, trying to gauge the depth of its treads. The pattern seems deep... but doubt creeps into every thought. Is that shaky sidewall safe? Is that thin spread of rubber enough?
Allow Key West Ford to provide some answers.
As the leading OEM parts supplier in the Lower Mainland, we recognize that our customers need more than mere selection. They instead need certainty - which is why we happily provide comprehensive tire inspections. We’ll examine every tread, noting its depth, grippage, and strength; and, through this, we’ll determine whether your vehicle is safe to travel.
If your treads are found lacking, we’ll quickly create a custom strategy to fix this:
Type of Tires - we’ll assess whether you would benefit from all-season (everyday errands and commutes) or all-terrain (off-roading adventures) options.
Brand Specifications - we’ll determine the best tires for your vehicle’s make and model (following manufacturer guidelines to gauge width, height, and aspect ratios).
Selection - we’ll offer a wide array of quality OEM names, ensuring that you’re confident with your purchase.
Maintenance - we’ll provide you with critical suggestions to ensure that you understand how to care for each tire (this will include proper inflation methods, dressing options, debris removal, and more).
No longer wonder if your tires are ready for the road. Instead allow our team to inspect them - verifying whether it’s time for something new. Contact us today to schedule an appointment!
Your car is... leaning. You stare, puzzled by this strange angle. How can a sedan become so suddenly lopsided? Your head tilts, following the curve; and a frown tugs at your mouth. This can’t be good.
The Key West Ford team agrees: it’s not.
A common issue plagues our customers - with their cars developing a subtle, but undeniable, lean. The entire stance is changed and every ride becomes rough. They’re baffled by what’s happening, but our Parts Department is not. It’s time to change the leaf springs.
Leaf springs prove a popular addition to suspensions - delivering layers of thin high-quality steel. Their elliptical designs yield flexibility, allowing them to evenly distribute weight; and their natural damping effects promote smooth responses. Over time, however, their lightweight structures will crumble, leaving the entire suspension compromised. This will cause a car to shift and often results in a distinctive lean. When left unchecked, this can weaken the axles (with too many pounds focused on one side).
To counter this, we suggest visiting our Parts Department. There you’ll find OEM leaf springs, as well trained technicians that can identify the correct options for your specific make and model. Our team will assess your vehicle, determining the most efficient repair solutions; and we’ll ensure that you understand every step of the inspection, selection, and installation processes.
Let us solve your leaf spring dilemma. Contact our team today to learn more!
It’s a lone flicker in the dark - a flash of red, a pale starburst, and then… nothing. Your brake light fades, leaving you suddenly without an LED shield.
Key West Ford suggests hurrying to our dealership.
Among the most common issues our customers face are broken brake lights - with winter proving particularly harsh. As Your Mechanic explains, seasonal moisture (from snow, sleet, or condensation) seeps into the mechanism and undermines both the housing and the electric current. The filaments are soon strained, and they quickly burn out. This leaves drivers without proper protection on the highway, with the NHTSA citing unresponsive bulbs as one of the five leading causes of rear collisions: second only to tire failure.
To counter the sudden loss of a brake light, we recommend visiting our Parts Department. There you’ll receive access to the best bubs on the market - with our team able to choose the perfect options for your car’s specific design. We’ll also assess the condition of the housing structure, determining whether it’s in need of sealing (if it is, we can accommodate you).
Don’t risk the perils of driving without a brake light. Come to our dealership today!
