Horrible and rude managers
Recently had some service work done on my 2016 Ford Taurus (wheel bearing + oil change) No complaints for the service work as it was done quickly but very bad experience regarding a damaged tire caused by the dealer which they denied to take responsibility for. (Inside of the tire sliced caused by hoist floor arm) I spoke with Sue and Tony both who were very rude to me regarding this concern. Exact words from Tony himself ***(we don't take responsibility for any tire issues). I told him I will see you in person with my dad and speak with you about this issue and his response (well you can come down if you like with your dad, uncle or whoever but I don't want to see you,) completely unacceptable responses especially being managers. I was not notified of the tire damage and they did not phone me to ask if i wanted the tire replaced especially being on the sidewall which is a major safety hazard only notes in the inspection report stating small cut in left front tire. I told Tony i shouldve been notified of the damaged tire and asked what if the tire blew on the highway causing a major accident? and he just brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal and laughed it off. My vehicle had a previous accident but is still under ford factory warranty because of the previous accident Tony and Sue both threatned me if I proceed any further regarding this tire issue they will deny my warranty claim because of my vehicle being in an accident. And i will have to pay the whole amount. Currently made a claim with Ford Canada regarding this matter and hope to get this resolved.
Happy Ford Owner
Key West is a Reputable Dealership
I have been dealing with Key West for quite a few years for both purchasing and servicing of my FORD cars. I have always found them to be sincere, helpful and easy to deal with for my purchases and listen to what you are asking for. As far as servicing, they are honest and go the extra to make sure you are happy.
Key West Ford
We went to Key West because they had an excellent selection of pre-owned Ford Flex's in stock. We were coming in from out of town to make the purchase, so arranging to have the vehicle available for test drives, getting some service work done prior to taking possession, and then getting the vehicle to us in Kelowna required some coordination. Overall, there were a lot of moving parts to this deal, but Colton the service rep handled everything smoothly and got us into our new car. We're very happy with our new car and with all aspects of our experience at Key West.
I recently needed a new vehicle and had a wonderful experience last time I bought new vehicle at key west ford so once again I go and visit the wonderful people at key west , and sure enough they go above and beyond to help me into another vehicle. I recommend visit key west ford if looking for a vehicle , I’m a customer for life won’t go anywhere else.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. They truly know how to treat people. Robert made me feel welcome and I will recommend Key West to my family and friends
My search for a family SUV
Having worked in the service industry myself for over 15 years I appreciate good customer service when I see it.
My experience with the team at Key West Ford was exceptional.
From Yashar in the service department to Rob Vanoverschot and Mike Nokes in the sales office the experience was always friendly, professional and most importantly one where I felt my family's needs were of the highest priority.
We test drove many SUV's of different makes and models and our final decision was unanimous. The Ford Explorer Sport ticked all the boxes for us and more with the quality of the drive, tech package, moon roof and mid console and captain's seats for the kids. A gorgeous vehicle and one we can't wait to drive and take on many long family road trips!
Thank you Key West Ford, you guys are awesome!
Jag Dhillon was very willing to work out a deal with us and made us feel comfortable with our decisions. Definitely recommend Jag and Key West Ford.
Thank you for your help
We just purchased a car from Peter Olson and it was great shopping experience with him. Peter was very knowledgeable about cars, and introduced a lot of detailed features to us. During the price negotiation, we didn't feel push, he worked hard to get the best price for us. Highly recommend to buy a car with him.

The Big Blue Oval sits upon a foundation of pony-power and F-Series performance. Every year convertibles and pick-ups propel it to the top of the charts - earning acclaim from drivers and critics alike. The release of the 2017 Explorer, however, showcases an unexpected (but certainly not unwelcome) consumer shift.
According to the NWI Times, the cornerstone of Ford’s success now rests on all-terrain capability. The 2017 Explorer has earned a staggering 20.7% year-to-year increase, resulting in the brand’s best sales in 13 years. In May alone, approximately 23,000 units were sold. This shatters all previous records and emphasizes the transition from sedans to SUVs.
With this transition comes incredible profits for Ford. The NWI Times notes that its overall margins have increased by 2.2% from 2016, and this trend should continue throughout the rest of the year - with the new Explorer bolstering every quarter.

Sport utility fans, rejoice! The 2019 Ford Explorer has been revealed... and it promises exceptional performance for the Lower Mainland.
Auto World News reports that Ford has begun testing the 2019 Explorer prototype, sending the SUV to its beloved Michigan proving grounds. Through downtown streets it growled - delivering both a new powertrain and a fresh fascia. Among the most notable improvements were:
Extended Wheelbase - while no official specs have been released for the Explorer, critics note that this platform is longer than its predecessors, promising a more comfortable tri-row interior.
Aluminum Paneling - though heavily camouflaged, this platform’s use of high-strength aluminum was still visible to quick-fingered photographers. The Explorer will share a similar construction to the F-150, delivering a lighter, more nimble chassis.
Enlarged Grille - the front grille has been widened, creating a sportier front.
Engine Options - Ford has confirmed that it’s considering adopting a new powertrain for the Explorer, replacing its current naturally-aspirated motor with either a 2.3L four-cylinder or a 3.5L V6 EcoBoost. Based upon the SUV’s performance in Michigan, many critics believe it will be the latter.
What do you think of these new details? Will the 2019 Explorer prove impossible for you to resist? Share your thoughts with us today!
A demand for safety defines the highway experience - with drivers seeking to counter uncertain traffic patterns and unsteady terrains. Each mile brings a new challenge, and too often do sedans and hatchbacks fail to meet those challenges.
According to AutoMoBlog, the 2018 Explorer should deliver secure roadways - with Ford offering a variety of advanced features to North America. This utility platform will boast:
Pre-Collision Warnings - with on-board radar sensors scanning the surrounding environment and detecting obstacles. Real-time alerts will be given and, should drivers fail to promptly respond, automatic braking and speed reduction technologies will then be applied.
Traffic Monitoring - with a blind-spot system assessing passing cars to determine whether they pose a potential concern.
Lane Departures - with a frontal camera observing marker positions and warning drivers through a series of steering wheel vibrations if they stray too far from the path.
These features - when paired with cross-traffic alerts and automatic high-beams - will ensure safety on the highway. Ford has created an SUV that accommodates every road condition, helping to negate the chance of collision.

Across North America comes a convoy - with the world’s leading engineers revving their latest platforms to Manhattan. There they’ll claim space at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, launching a series of New York Auto Show debuts. Showings from Toyota, Chevrolet, and Dodge are expected.
Ford, however, isn’t content to wait for the Auto Show. Instead it’s offering drivers an early peek at its 2019 Explorer - taking to the streets of Colorado and proving (once again) why it dominates the SUV market.
According to OPP Trends, the 2019 Explorer was recently revealed. This platform - which boasts an elongated wheelbase and heightened roof-line - should appeal to a wide demographic, delivering a seven-passenger configuration and best-in-class cabin space. Though heavily camouflaged, its new body features lean side panels and a refined hood, suggesting a use of aluminum materials; and spy photos of the interior hint at a new nine-speed automatic transmission. This will ensure smooth handling on every road.
We’re certainly impressed.
The 2019 Explorer will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show - but, until then, drivers can take advantage of these exclusive images to study every angle.

In 2011 Ford introduced drivers to a refreshed Explorer - blending uni-body construction with streamlined A-pillars. The result was a sleeker, leaner SUV that could more efficiently compete with the expanding crossover market.
Now Ford seeks to once again reinvent its popular platform, with spy photos of a new Explorer revealed.
According to Motor Authority, the 2019 Explorer has been spotted. This platform - though heavily camouflaged - mirrors the sleek construction of its predecessor, delivering an elongated wheelbase and slimmer fenders; and a hint of aluminum paneling can be seen along the front, promising a lightframe weight (which should increase the overall MPG ratios and acceleration capabilities).
The most exciting change, however, is the inclusion of a new 9-speed automatic transmission. This will replace the current 6-speed and will provide drivers with more fluid responses, especially when paired with the available AWD. The 2019 Explorer should prove a surprisingly nimble SUV.
Though no official release date has been offered, this Ford model should arrive in 2018 (production should begin in the spring, with a tentative launch scheduled for the fall). Drivers won’t have to wait too long, therefore, to Go Further.

The road is ever-changing. With every mile drivers find themselves combatting dizzying steppes and endless flatlands. The terrains are always new and always challenging, testing the limits of every SUV; and some powertrains simply fail to deliver the necessary performance.
Ford deems this unacceptable - which is why it’s bolstered its 2017 Explorer with a series of engine options. Each can effortlessly accommodate North America’s shifting environments, ensuring smooth handling from the suburbs to the great unknown.
The Lowell Sun reports that the 2017 Explorer now features three distinct powertrains:
The 3.5L V6 - this entry-level engine yields 290 HP and 255 lb.-ft of torque. It’s well-suited for everyday activities and light-duty hauling.
The 3.5L EcoBoost: this V6 option generates 365 HP and 350 lb.-ft of torque, delivering twin-turbocharged performance and rugged off-road responses.
The 2.3L EcoBoost: boasting 280 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque, this four-cylinder engine blends turbocharged capability with available four-wheel-drive to ensure premium power.
With each mile, the 2017 Explorer can seamlessly shift from family platform to all-terrain beast - and drivers will no longer endure the frustration of weak revs and slow handling. Go Further with ease.

Time proves slow for Ford Explorer fans - with every day stretched across an eternity and every season crawling. Two years separate drivers from this SUV; and, though spy photos of the 2019 platform have been released, no specs have followed. The anticipating seems impossible to bear.
Key West Ford is pleased to announce that this anticipation can now turn into satisfaction.
A recent Auto Guide article offers insights into the 2019 Explorer. This platform will deliver a series of new options, ensuring easy all-terrain handling through:
A D6 Drivetrain - which will offer both front-wheel and all-wheel performance to promote rugged responses.
A New V6 Engine - with the current naturally-aspirated V6 replaced by a more powerful option (exact HP ratios have yet to be released). The 2.3L four-cylinder and 3.5L EcoBoost engines will, respectively, remain available.
Aluminum Construction - with much of the original steel framing replaced by high-grade aluminum to ensure greater efficiency and speed. No MPG ratings have been revealed, but many critics expect a 10% increase in total performance.
Through these features, the 2019 Explorer will provide superior power - making it an ideal option for families and adventurers alike.

The LA Scope Press reports that Ford is transforming its beloved Explorer. The 2017 platform (which has already received critical acclaim for its responsive 3.5L engine and Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive) will now feature a class-exclusive Sport Package. This will deliver a variety of exterior enhancements, fusing the big-bodied SUV with:
A Black Roof Rack.
Magnetic Gray Wheels.
Magnetic Gray Appliqués and Mirror Caps.
Custom Body Cladding.
These details will combine to emphasize the Explorer’s strong lines - with the extended wheelbase (198-inches) and oversized front track (67-inches) creating an aggressive all-terrain look. The Sport Package will complement this perfectly.
Those complements will extend beyond the fascia. The LA Scope Press also notes that Ford is tweaking the Explorer’s interior as well, offering bespoke leather trim (Dark Earth Gray) and custom contrast stitching. This will add a touch of sophistication to every backroad ride.
