Pretty Good So Far
I purchased a 2017 Taurus SHO on Oct 20. Whole transaction from test drive to driving off the lot with my new car, was relatively painless. Only issue was a missing owners manual, which they said they would find and mail to me. A few days later, I received a call from Michael Nokes (an excellent sales mgr), stating that they could not find it and ordered a new one for me. Awesome. A month later, I finally had enough of the waiting and called them again wondering why I hadn't received it. "Oh... it just came in". Riiiiight... LOL. Regardless, I am happy. The only other issue I have is that, I was told my car came with Ford Pass. It does not. The Fusion Sport I was also interested in, did. So a little (a lot) disappointed about that, but I think the salesman was new and didn't know all the features that the different models have. The Taurus (even my SHO), does NOT come with Ford Pass. Sigh.
My only other complaint is with the financing. I read on their website of rates at 4 or so percent. I was given a rate of almost 7 %. As a federal employee with 30 years service in law enforcement and nearly no mortgage, and NO other debt, I expected better. A call and email to Michelle inquiring about this, garnered no response, so I took it upon myself to call Coast Capital Savings and today signed a contract for 4.25% .......much better!
Car has so far performed excellent. As for service, too soon to tell. I have not reached the mileage required for an oil change etc.
Overall, I am happy with Key West and would recommend them to others.
Painless car purchase
Jeff Upton and the team at Key West Ford Sales were great to deal with. They were super helpful and responsive to all questions, and went the distance to make a deal. There was no pressure at any point along the way. I have bought cars before and often came away feeling somehow fleeced....NOT the case here.

Speed proves a rarity within the crossover market - with burly SUVs intended for comfort, not performance. Their big frames yield sluggish revs; and Vancouver drivers have long since resigned themselves to slow highway experiences.
According to AutomoBlog, Ford is redefining the crossover market - offering its first performance-inspired SUV. The Edge ST brings exceptional power to every mile, housing a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 beneath its hood. This twin-turbo engine yields 335 HP and 380 lb.-ft of torque. It’s ably assisted by an eight-speed automatic transmission (complete with rotary gear shifter) and a custom-tuned suspension, which work in tandem to promote nimble responses; while a front air curtain delivers aerodynamic handling, effortlessly diverting friction-causing currents away from the fascia. Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive smoothly adapts to changing environments, utilizing an A.I algorithm to customize power-band ratios as needed; and vectoring control technology stabilizes each rev to maintain superior traction.
All of these elements combine to ensure a class-leading crossover - with the 2019 Edge ST securing a 0 to 60 run of approximately six seconds.
Hear that? It’s the sound of a V8 revolution… and it’s coming your way.

The future has arrived - and it’s fully automated.
Prepare, Vancouver, for a new generation of crossover capability. Ford has just unveiled its 2019 Edge and this fleet (which includes the SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST) delivers the Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system - which promises seamless transfer case technology with every mile.
According to AutomoBlog, the new Edge is primed for any terrain. Anchoring its chassis is an Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive console. This A.I.-based system - the first of its kind from Ford - utilizes a suite of body-mounted sensors to monitor the changing roadways. Real-time data is fed into the suspension: noting pitch, trajectory, and even lane alignment. These metrics are then assessed by a custom algorithm every 10 milliseconds, with the car instantly detecting any potentially dangerous patterns (such as a loss of traction among the wheels due to slick pavement conditions).
A response strategy is launched - with the system automatically shifting between two-wheel and four-wheel modes as needed. The power-band is modified to reflect the environment, and torque is distributed among the tires at rapid rates. Through this, the 2019 Edge can more efficiently maneuver past any obstacle and deliver bespoke performance.
The Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive system brings automatic strategies to the Lower Mainland - branding it perfect for every seasonal adventure. To learn more about this technology contact our team today!
Upgrade your half-ton experience, Vancouver. Slip behind the wheel of the 2019 F-150 Limited and discover superior power - with Ford pairing this platform with a high-output 3.5L V6.
Don’t adjust your screens, F-150 fans. You read that spec correctly. The new Limited will boast a 3.6L powerpoint - sharing the same all-terrain capabilities as its big brother, the Raptor. Beneath the hood of this pick-up will sit an EcoBoost block, generating up to 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque (a marked improved over the previous generation’s 375 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque). A 10-speed automatic transmission will anchor every rev, providing a smooth off-road experience through custom gear ratios; while both RWD and AWD configurations will be offered to ensure optimum traction.
To further impress, Ford is fusing the new F-150 with 22-inch wheels - providing all-season treads and wide interlocks to improve handling on the backroads. Drivers will be able to effortlessly accelerate, with these options delivering rugged traction in the wake of every V6 surge. Adaptive cruise control and an optional rear locking differential will offer further support.
With the release of the 2019 F-150 Limited Ford promises exceptional performance in Vancouver - transforming this luxury platform into an off-road powerhouse. To learn more about the new engine upgrades contact our team today!
Pony performance never goes out of style - with V8 engines proving timeless and rear-wheel-drivetrains remaining ever-relevant. This is the truth known by all Mustang devotees… especially those who favor the Mach 1 marquee.
We count ourselves among that happy few.
TheTop Speed team recently slid behind the wheel of Ford’s signature pony - gripping the reins in tight anticipation. The Mach 1 (which originally served as an alternative to the Chevrolet Camaro) was a beast when it roared down the highway in 1969; and they knew very little had changed. With a turn of the ignition they flew across the pavement, leaving a trail of dust in their wake.
The original Mach 1 still proves a powerhouse. Beneath its hood stomps a 7.0L Cobra Jet V8, which generates 335 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. An available Ramair intake system yields impressive valve control, while a cast-iron camshaft proves durable against the surge of a 4,600 RPM redline. A traction-lock rear axle promotes stable handling, automatically engaging with 3.91 precision; and the inclusion of a custom-tuned suspension ensures that every rev is perfectly controlled, with the platform able to smoothly transition from straightaways to sharp curves.
The Mach 1 Mustang’s engine suite delivers undeniable power - allowing drivers to blitz from 0 to 60 in less than six seconds. This, Top Speed explains, ensures a first-place finish in any century.
What do you think, Vancouver? Is that Mach 1 destined for a revival? Share your opinions with us today!

The future of all-terrain power has arrived - with Ford unveiling its 2019 Ranger Raptor. This beastly pick-up promises dynamic handling on every road, pairing a rugged diesel engine (210 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque) with enhanced suspension capabilities. There will be no mile it can’t conquer… but will it come to Vancouver?
According to The Drive, Ford will soon release its Ranger Raptor onto the international market - offering both Europe and Australia the chance to sample class-leading performance. Anchored by a revised chassis (which now boasts 11.1-inches of total ground clearance), this F-150 variant rolls over every challenge. A 32.5-degree front approach angle allows for smooth cornering over rocky terrains, while the 24-degree departure angle ensures effortless reversals. A 0.9-inch bash plate lines the undercarriage, protecting the transfer case and coil-over springs from debris; and FOX Racing shocks improve stability, letting the truck more efficiently maneuver along inclines by complementing the Position Sensitive Damping system (a function that counters roll-rates).
The 2019 Ranger Raptor has been designed for the wildest of backroads - which is why Vancouver drivers are wondering whether they’ll ever experience its full-throttle power. Sadly, Ford has yet to announce a release date for this pick-up in North America… but we’re hopeful that growing consumer interest may lead to an expedited production schedule.
