Everything about my trip to Key West was great, Peter Olson, Wes Upton & Nicholas Terezakis were amazing to deal with. Super patient guys with a knack for customer service, never once did I feel like I was at a normal dealership, these guys made the car buying process super easy and not stressful.
My New Favourite Dealership!
My boyfriend and I were on the hunt for a new SUV, and we ended up being helped by Rob Vanoverschot. I was nervous about going to a dealership as I'd never purchased off of a lot before - and Rob made the process a breeze! He answered all of our questions and never made us feel pressured at all! We test drove about 6 different makes and models and fell in love with a 2019 Ford Escape. I would highly recommend Rob and Key West Ford, even the financing department and insurance department made this process enjoyable!
Not to mention they had the best prices around - and we came all the way out from Abbotsford!
Great Kai and jag were awesome

Michael and Monina
The most seamless car buying experience with Peter Olson!
It was an awesome experience from the time we walked on the dealer lot to the time we drove home our car. Super friendly Ivan, super helpful Gurj and super salesman Peter!
Erick was very friendly and personable and it was a pleasure to do business with him. I would recommend him and Key West if you’re looking for a vehicle.
Happy with the Flex
Patient and Kind
I was extremely happy with most of the folks I spoke with during my time at Key West. It took me 3 days of visiting the dealership to make sure I was making the right decision on the vehicle for my needs and my budget. All staff but one understood that this purchase wasn't an easy one to make within my budget. Peter Olsen, Michael Nokes and Robert Klaus really understood why I needed to take my time and research all my options. I appreciated their kindness and patience and didn't feel at all pressured into the sale.
Helpful and honest dealers. Car was well inspected and in advertised good condition. Overall the service was good and the sale was fair. Dean was great!
I saw an ad for a F350 at the lot. The truck was not on the lot due to construction. It took a day to get the truck so I could see it. I made a deal and drove it away that afternoon. Happy with the vehicle. Sales person was new to Key West and lacked knowledge of all the options on the truck.
Over and above
They were great. They did everything in their power to help us. They really know there stuff. They took the time to explain everything and answer all if our questions. They really want to make that we got everything we needed and more.
Latest Ford News For Vancouver And New Westminster B.C. Drivers
When the all-season tire was introduced it sent a wave of relief through drivers. They no longer had to deal with complicated chains and treads. They no longer had to replace bolts and axles. Instead their vehicles could transition from day to day, withstanding even the worst Winter weather.
This was a nice thought.
It wasn’t, however, a reality.
All-season tires are not acceptable for New Westminster drivers. They lack the needed traction and reduce overall car efficiency. Braking, handling and acceleration are all affected by tires - and, without the proper treads, vehicles can fumble through Winter. Sliding, skidding and spin-outs are almost guaranteed.
Key West Ford urges you to consider winter tires, therefore. These options are designed to withstand brutal conditions. Their unique shapes reduce snow build-up, remain flexible and have aggressive treads that effortlessly cut through sleet and slush.
All-season tires don’t.
Contact Key West Ford this Winter to choose the right tires for your vehicle. Don't risk an all-season accident.
Key West Ford is joining the fight against hunger, and we hope our community will do the same.
We’re currently hosting a drive to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society (GVFBS), a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding families in need. Key West Ford believes in the power of the GVFSB, which is why we now ask our customers to donate food products for the New Westminster branch. We’re looking for canned proteins, canned fruits or vegetables, low sugar cereals, boxes of pasta or rice, baby formula and other non-perishables. Homemade products, opened products or products that contain alcohol will not be accepted.
Bring all donations to the Key West Ford dealership to help local families.

This is why we’re now hosting a toy drive for the New Westminster Family Place. This vital community program allows children to express themselves through art, music, games and more. It offers a dynamic environment, fostering social skills under the guise of playing.
New Westminster Family Place also provides exceptional support for parents and grandparents. It offers library resources, access to childcare and healthcare specialists, donation programs and more. It strives to bring families together.
Key West Ford appreciates this, which is why we now ask our community to participate in a toy drive. Bring new or like-new toys to our dealership. Books, blocks, stuffed animals and more are welcomed (though please note that the Family Place is intended for newborns and toddlers. All donations should be age-appropriate).
These gifts will make a great difference for the upcoming holiday season. Contact Key West Ford with any questions or suggestions.
Key West Ford was deeply saddened by the effects of Typhoon Haiyan. The struggles of the Filipino people - with over 600,000 left without food, shelter or medical supplies - grieves us and the rest of New Westminster.
We ask now that our community gather together to help.
Key West Ford is hosting a clothing drive. Items of good quality - without tears, stains or frayed seaming - should be delivered to the dealership, where they will then be prepared for transport to the Philippines. Shirts, pants and even shoes are requested (please note, however, that this is a humid climate. Cold-weather options are not recommended).
We hope that all New Westminster citizens will band together to provide some relief to the Philippines.

The temperatures are steadily dropping; the hours are growing dark; and a promise of rain, snow and the much dreaded black ice will soon be fulfilled. December is on its way, and drivers must be ready.
Winterize your vehicle.

High-performance meets high style in the 2014 Ford Fiesta. This striking option effortlessly outclasses its competitors, bringing drivers the power, precision and luxury they want.
The 2014 Ford Fiesta, which is available in both hatchback and sedan models, shatters preconceptions about the capabilities of a compact car. Its 1.6 L TI-VCT engine - which is equipped with PowerShift technology, aluminum coring and signature 6-speed transmission - allows drivers to easily navigate any corner. This is a FWD option with efficiency to spare.
It also ranks far above the rest.
In a recent study conducted by the EnerGuide of Canada, the 2014 Fiesta managed to out-class similar cars, such as the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic, the 2013 Honda Fit, the 2013 Hyundai Accent and the 2014 Nissan Versa. Each car was examined for fuel consumption, mileage, standard safety features and overall passenger comfort. In all categories, the Fiesta reigned supreme.
The 2014 Ford Fiesta is first in its class. Visit Key West Ford to schedule a test drive today!
It can also be one of the most nerve-wracking, white-knuckle inducing hours of a Ford owner’s life.
In the spirit of Halloween, Key West Ford is interested in your most gruesomely embarrassing - or amazing - test tales. Tell us how many times it took you to master the wheel. Reminisce about your instructors and their disapproving scowls. Give us every funny detail about traffic woes, stop sign failures, parallel parking and more. We want it all!
Send out a tweet on October 31st to get involved with the campaign. Use #TBT (Throwback Thursday) to share pics and stories about your driving test. We look forward to reading them!
The electric car promises great things. It combines conservation with efficiency, weaning drivers away from fuel-guzzling vehicles and offering them an environmentally-friendly compromise.
Ford has embraced this philosophy. Its Focus, Fusion and C-Max Energi models all have electric technology. Lithium-ion batteries create responsive, and eco-conscious, results.
Ford isn’t content with this, however. Instead it’s determined to further the electric idea - with a new battery.
Ford now partners with the University of Michigan, opening a research and manufacturing lab in Ann Arbor. The point of this lab will be to test, refine and mass-market electric batteries. Current production is slow and costly. Further study is needed to improve overall quality.
Should the lab prove successful, Ford will be able to tap into a growing market of environmental products - as well as create better cars for the future.
Halloween celebrates all things spooky and spectacular - which means that fireworks are the perfect way to end an evening. Their bold colors and explosive sounds make them favorites of every young ghoul in training.
Key West Ford reminds you to take care when launching rockets, sparklers and smoke bombs this season, though. Children can easily become hurt when handling fireworks, and it’s best to remember certain precautions before creating a ghost-themed display.
Never allow young children to ignite or hold fireworks.
Be certain that children stand at least ten feet from any launch.
Never allow children to point or throw fireworks at another person.
Have a bucket of water nearby should any fireworks malfunction.
Discuss fire protection procedures (Stop, Drop and Roll) with children before beginning a display.
Key West Ford encourages you to use these tips for a safe and fun Halloween.
Ghosts and goblins are taking over the road - and causing great concern for drivers.
Halloween is coming. Children are flocking to the streets, searching for candy and good times. They don’t spare thoughts for safety. They’re only interested in fun. Trying to maneuver through neighborhoods and rural roads can prove dangerous, however, and each year brings the possibility of an accident.
Key West Ford wants to avoid this. We now offer some helpful tips to improve visibility while trick-or-treating this year:
Wear White Clothing
Black may be Halloween’s signature color, but white is far better on the road. Drivers can spy a bright object up to 200 feet in advance - as opposed to a dark object at 20 feet.
Use Reflective Accessories
If a child’s costume must be dark, add reflective accents to the front and back. Consider arm bands, luminescent tape, glow-in-the-dark candy bags and more.
Walk In Pairs
Safety in numbers doesn’t just protect against things that go bump in the night. Instead it makes visibility far easier. Drivers are more likely to see groups than an individual. Pair up!
Use these tips to create a safe and fun Halloween environment.
