Everything went like clockwork from the pickup at ferry terminal to meeting with pete olson at dealership and finalizing the deal

First Time Purchase
As first time new car purchasers, my fiancé and I were delighted with the experience of purchasing our new 2018 Ford Escape. Peter made us feel at ease, and let us see a variety of vehicles, even going as far as pulling them out of their parking spots to let us see each and every car in a bit more open area.
Peter was kind, light-hearted and didn’t make us feel pressured into making any decisions. He was up front about the previous ownership of the vehicle we decided on, and even printed off the reports for us to keep. When we had further questions, he brought Wes over to meet with us and discuss the vehicle further.
It was so nice, being first time buyers, to have a pressure-free and up front conversation about our new purchase.
We highly recommend Peter, and the entire Key West team, to help you find your new vehicle!
Best Deal Ever

Great Experience, Great Deal!
We arrived just before the dealership was to open and Jag came out and welcomed us in and helped us immediately. He quickly located the vehicle we were looking at and brought it to us. Jag was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
We decided on the vehicle and we worked out a great deal.
I also wanted to send a thank-you to Ivan and Gurj!
Overall we are very happy with our vehicle, very happy with our deal and extremely satisfied with our overall experience. I would have no problem recommending Jag and Key West Ford!
Exactly the vehicle we were looking for
Robert was extremely knowledgeable and personable from the first phone call to his most recent follow up call. We had done our research and were looking for a specific Ford F150 that could pull our fifth wheel trailer. Robert listened carefully and suggested that we come in and see the one used vehicle that met our criteria. Never pushy but friendly and excellent at his job. Wanted to make the deal but willing to negotiate and make sure that we satisfied with the process. Highly recommend Robert to any of my friends and thanks for making the buying experience pleasurable.
We recently purchased a new Ford Escape and were impressed with the friendly and courteous service. Lino and Wes were very helpful and knowledgeable. They patiently and confidently answered our many questions and guided us through the process with ease. Thank you also to Jeff who promptly assisted us when we returned the next day with a couple of questions when Lino and Wes were not available. Overall, we appreciated the attentive service from all staff from our initial visit through the financing and insurance.
A Splendid Experience
These guys all really helped me out. Friendly, personable service, fair negotiators, and thorough in the orientation they gave me with my brand new car. They really gave me the attention I needed. Thank you very much fellas. Much appreciated. Keep it up!
Latest Ford News For Vancouver And New Westminster B.C. Drivers
Driving is the source for all things automotive. This PostMedia hub provides readers with news, reviews and comparisons: continuously collecting data about the world’s leading manufacturers and their latest models. It boasts a circulation of almost 2 million readers per week, and it has become a leader of both journalistic and editorial writing.
It’s the defining voice in the car choir... and it’s no surprise that it’s now singing the praises of Sue Charbonneau!
Sue Charbonneau - Key West Ford’s much beloved Service Manager - has been showcased in Driving! The article, written by noted Vancouver Sun contributer Russell Purcell, is part of a series dedicated to women in the automotive industry. It highlights the shift toward gender equality and offers hope for the future.
The 2015 Focus promises exceptional performance. A 2.0L Ti-VCT engine delivers flex-fuel capabilities. An all-wheel drive system allows for superior handling, while a rear-diffuser design reduces understeering. It’s a hatchback powerhouse.
It’s also a Best In Class safety contender.
Ford has just announced that the 2015 Focus will feature new anti-skid technology. While this may seem less impressive than a turbocharged engine or EcoBoost efficiency, drivers will soon discover the importance of safety. This system - which is called Enhanced Transitional Stability - allows the car to automatically assess and respond to spin-outs. It anticipates a collision (noting both the speed and current trajectory) and then applies pressure to the brakes and/or individual wheels. This provides the driver with up to 200 milliseconds of response time.
And that could be the difference between a crash or a simple swerve.
Enhanced Transitional Stability first appeared on the market in 2013. It wasn’t widely applied, however, and few models have it even now. Ford’s use of it for the Focus proves their faith in its abilities... and promises safer cars for the future.
On January 26th the Key West team shared exciting news about Ford: the company was building a Silicon Valley lab, intending to focus on connectivity software and (most importantly) self-driving cars. The center would serve as a showcase for innovation.
Want to look inside?
Ford has just released this sneak peek of its new lab! Check out its latest projects - including virtual reality testing, heat mapping and vehicle simulations! This is the future of the auto industry... and the it puts the past to shame.
The Silicon Valley Research and Development Center allows Ford to further explore - and improve - the driving experience. We expect exceptional tech to spring from here, and several upcoming models (like the Focus RS, the Super Duty and the GT350R) will benefit directly from its applications.

In 1923 drivers flocked to France, determined to participate in a rare test of skill: Le Mans. This 24-hour event challenged even the most proficient racers, demanding that they balance high speeds against engine endurance. It was a fight for track domination and even now it remains the world’s premier Grand Prix.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that Ford is considering taking part in one of Le Mans’ upcoming races - and it’s no surprise that they may already have a car ready for production.
Check out this rendering of a possible LMP1 racer from Ford. It was recently glimpsed in a promotional video for the 2017 GT, leading to speculation that it would be a 350 variant. Note the streamlined body and elevated rear fin, as well as the Recaro branding. This hints at a rally future.
And - should this rendering prove accurate - that future will be bright.
Key West Ford is quick to note that the LMP1 racer has not been confirmed. The inclusion of it in promotional materials, however, does give credit to the rumor. This car may soon arrive... and dominate Le Mans.

Ford sales tumbled in 2014. The company - in the midst of a transition from steel framing to aluminum - couldn’t produce the necessary numbers, with too many assembly lines shut down and too many part-plants revamping their stocks. The supply-and-demand strategy failed.
This is going to change in 2015.
According to recent reports, Ford has already shown a profit for this year - thanks to its new F-150.
The 2015 F-150 dominates the charts, snagging over 50,000 sales in January alone (that’s a 16.3% increase from 2014). These trucks have remained on their lots for an average of only 12 days, and dealers have also noted increased interest for the F-Series as a whole. Test-drives and purchases have soared.
This promises an exceptional year for Ford, with the company finally able to embrace (and produce) its new aluminum design. The F-150 should continue to generate high numbers and reclaim the title of Best Selling Truck In North America.
We certainly expect it to be the Best Selling Truck In BC.

The impending arrival of the 2016 Focus RS has rocked the auto world. Drivers have dedicated this past week to sifting thorough video clips, photos and spec sheets - trying to find as much information as possible about this hot hatchback. Searches have been launched and questions have been asked.
Three questions in particular have reigned supreme on forums, with Focus fans debating the model's future and assemblage - and Key West Ford is happy to now provide the needed answers.
One: Will the North American RS differ from the European RS?
No! The Focus RS will be identical on every market (save for varying safety standards). There will be no loss of power or performance.
Two: Will the RS feature carbon fiber parts?
No. Unlike previous RS models, the 2016 Focus will have no carbon fiber parts or aluminum panels. It will instead rely on lightweight steel.
Three: Will the Focus RS be a rally-racer?
Possibly. Ford has made no direct announcements about the 2016 RS’ rally future, but most critics predict that the car will be a track contender. Some even suggest that a Le Mans' debut is possible.
The Focus RS is an engineering wonder... and Key West Ford can’t wait to get one on our lot. Be sure to visit our blog regularly as we reveal more information about this hatchback beast.
In 2014 Ford announced the return of the WildTrak, its popular Ranger variant. This 4x4 powerhouse would feature a 3.2L AT engine, a 5-cylinder inline DOHC and a direct commonrail injection system. This would generate over 200 PSM and 470 lb-ft. of torque, ensuring high speeds on the road.
And those high speeds will soon arrive - because the Ranger WildTrak has finally been spotted!
Check out these spy shots of the 2015 Wildtrak! Note the redefined front, which bears a striking resemblance to the F-150, and the upgraded driveline. The interior has also been updated, with LCD technology, leather craftsmanship and a bevy of tech options (including a tachometer and the new Sync system).
The 2015 Ranger WildTrak is scheduled for a spring release in Australia and the Philippines. Key West Ford, however, hopes this production schedule will soon extend to Canada (though we know this will depend upon the truck's global sales and critical success).
