Professional service and a good purchasing experience

I had an excellent experience dealing with Robert Antoniak on my recent F150 purchase. After my initial test drive, I took some time to think about the purchase. Robert followed up with me but was not at all "pushy" which is something I value when dealing with a seller. I found him friendly and very easy to deal with. Robert really knows his products and had an answer for every question I had. I would recommend Robert and Key West Ford to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I also had an excellent experience setting up my financing with Michelle Kellough. Michelle went through all of the options and set me up with a finance plan that worked perfectly for me. Michelle is also very friendly and professional and I was quite happy with the service.

Robert Antoniak was professional, courteous, and answered all of my questions honestly. After having researched a few suitable vehicles on AutoTrader, I found a great car at Key West. Robert was eager to have me test-drive the vehicle, and I walked out with new (lightly used) car that afternoon. Very pleased with my purchase. Thanks to Michelle too!

Nothing but praise for the car; the service and the dealership and its culture. I have never had so painless and enjoyable experience at purchasing a car. Typically, it has been a somewhat anxiety-laden, somewhat pressured experience. Utterly different at Key West. Best experience ever in a car dealership. This will sound odd, but they seemed like friends. JDF and ALA - New West

First time working with Key West - really enjoyed it

I came to Key West Ford looking at a very specific vehicle, hoping to trade out of a sedan into a small SUV. Ian was the sales guy on deck, and was very friendly and helpful. He understood that although a deal was possible, it wasn't guaranteed as I had appointments to see other vehicles. We test drove the vehicle I was there to see (2017 Nissan Rogue), and he was very patient with the bad traffic on a Friday afternoon. He wasn't pushy or in a rush to get out of the car. We talked trade in potential on my old car, and about a possibility of a deal. I reviewed what he offered, and said I'd keep him in mind as I finished my other test drives. Once those were done the next day, I selected the Key West Rogue as my car of choice. Ian was kind enough to come in on his Saturday off to help secure the offer he'd made me the day before, prepare the paperwork, and walk me through the process. I was never left alone, and never felt lost in the shuffle. He also went to work scrambling to find me replacement floor mats (which had gone missing from the car) and a gas card to make up for the partially emptied tank. It's worth mentioning too, every other employee I dealt with - every single one - was friendly. Whether it was another sales person taking two seconds to tell me where Ian was, the ladies at the front desk giving me directions, or dealing with the finance (Michelle was also awesome!), I didn't meet a single person at Key West that gave me a bad feeling. Ian was a pro - dealt well, listened well, showed patience in asking for and landing the deal, and made me feel valued as a customer before moving on to any other business. I had a great experience dealing with him, and would do so again. This has been the easiest car purchase I've ever made. Thanks Ian!

Thanks Allan for helping me find my next family vehicle.

I came in to the dealership looking to move up from a five seater sedan into a 7 seater SUV. Allan greeted me shortly after arriving and I let him know what I was looking for. I'm glad I didn't have to search all over for someone to help me like I've run in to at a few other dealerships. He fought through the cold weather to show me vehicle after vehicle till we found one that worked. We didn't end up doing the deal that day since it was a little more than what I had budgeted. Allan being the great guy that he is, called me a couple days later to let me know of more options that would be available for me from a new shipment that was coming in. I was happy that he kept working to help me well after I had left that day. Not every sales guy would go above and beyond like that. That's why I think he deserves 5 stars. The dealership did a great job making their vehicles available and did a fantastic detailing job on the slighty used vehicle that i purchased. I would have given Key West Ford 5 stars but I only received a half tank of gas when I left. I figured after giving them tens of thousands of dollars in business a full tank would have left a nice impression on their customer. It would have been completely empty if it wasn't for Allan seeing it before I left and he was quick to get it up to at least half for me. Overall a pretty good experience.

The new era of performance has begun - with Ford introducing drivers to its latest F-Series fleet. These half-ton powerhouses are redefining the market, delivering V8 capability and best-in-class strength; and they will soon roar onto the global sales chart.

The 2018 F-150 Platinum will ensure that they reach the top.

According to Kelley Blue Book, the new F-150 Platinum is a monster on the highway. Bolstered by a 5.0L V8, this pick-up can generate up to 395 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. A 10-speed transmission anchors the drivetrain, pairing with smart mobility solutions (such as hill descent assist technology and a terrain management system) to improve handling; while Intelligent AWD promises rugged responses.

The true value of any truck, however, is its towing performance - and the 2018 F-150 Platinum should impress every driver. This mid-size platform delivers up to 11,600 pounds of conventional trailering and 3,270 payload pounds. This shatters all segment records and allows Ford to (once again) push the boundaries of pick-up strength.

Prepare for all-terrain power.

Want to know more about this new F-Series option? Visit our dealership today for further information about the 2018 F-150 Platinum!

With every heavy load comes a worry of speed - with drivers creeping around corners, afraid that their pick-ups will suddenly skid across the road. Their trailers are filled to the brim, threatening always to topple over; and every mile brings a wince. One too-quick acceleration could lead to disaster.

Ford recognizes the concerns of its customers - which is why it seeks to provide greater stability on the highway. The 2018 F-150 will feature Curve Control technology.

According to TFL Truck, Curve Control is an exclusive Ford system - one that delivers smooth handling on every terrain. It utilizes intuitive sensors to assess both road conditions and platform speed. Should MPH ratios prove too high while turning, it will automatically engage the four-wheel disc brakes, reducing torque and accelerations. This will allow drivers to immediately regain control of their F-150s and create a more fluid response.

With Curve Control balance is achieved - ensuring that all wheels remain firmly planted on the road. Ford further combines this system with complementary features (including Hill Assist, Active Park Assist, and Adaptive Collision Warnings) to ensure a seamless ride. No payload is too great for the 2018 F-150.

Let us prove the value of Curve Control. Visit our dealership today to learn more about this function, as well as to schedule a test-drive in our available F-Series models.

High-performance now knows no limit - with Ford introducing drivers to premium half-ton power. The 2018 F-150 is coming... and it promises record-shattering capability with every mile.

According to Torque News, Ford seeks to redefine the pick-up market. This is why it’s fused its latest F-Series model with a series of powerhouse systems - including a 5.0L V8 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission - to deliver superior strength. This is an all-terrain bruiser, battling its way past highways, back-roads, and more; and it should deftly adapt to every driver need:

Payload Capacity: Up to 3,270 Pounds.
Towing Capacity: Up to 13,200 Pounds.
Horsepower: Up to 450.
Torque: Up to 470.

The 2018 F-150 is a machine without equal. When properly equipped, it revs down the road - leaving both the Toyota Tundra and the Dodge Ram in the dust. No platform offers as much power.

None provides as much economy either.

Torque News notes that the 2018 F-150 will boast more than 30 MPGs on the highway (thanks to its available diesel engine). This ensures that drivers can effortlessly haul the heaviest loads... without having to constantly pause at the pump.

Efficiency is coming to the Lower Mainland - with Ford delivering a suite of economical powertrains for its 2018 F-150. Though this platform delivers staggering strength (yielding a maximum trailering ratio of 13,200 pounds), drivers will be most impressed by its EcoBoost capabilities. No longer will the pick-up market demand endless hours spent at the pump and equally endless dollars.

MotorTrend reports that the 2018 F-150 has been thoughtfully designed, with Ford embracing smart mobility. Each of its latest engine options has been tailored for strong mileage - blending automatic start/stop technology, a more fluid 10-speed transmission, and lightweight aluminum cladding.

Engine: Naturally Aspirated 3.3L V6
City MPGs: 19
Highway MPGs: 25

Engine: 2.7L EcoBoost V6
City MPGs: 20
Highway MPGs: 26

Engine: 5.0L V8
City MPGs: 17
Highway MPGs: 23

Engine: 3.5L EcoBoost V6

These numbers should offer relief to drivers - promising best-in-class economy and budget-friendly trailering. The 2018 F-150 is intended for long hauls and easy savings.

Go Further, Ford urges - and these words prove more than a pithy slogan. With the release of the 2017 F-150, the Big Blue Oval (once again) redefined the pick-up market and pushed itself beyond all sales expectations.

It also crushed all Wall Street doubts.

According to CNBC, financial analysts volleyed bleak predictions at Ford this year - speculating that its second-quarter would fail and its market shares would tumble. As July comes to a close, however, these concerns have been shoved aside. North America’s leading automotive brand remains an undeniable force on the charts.

CNBC explains that Ford has generated a massive $39.9 billion revenue for 2017 - $2 billion more than anticipated. Its Wall Street prices have soared from 43-cents to 56-cents, and its profits (after taxes) exceed $600 million. How did it accomplish such a feat?

The 2017 F-150 connected with consumers across the globe.

The F-Series has remained a sales champion for more than 40 years, and the latest F-150 has continued this tradition. This platform - with its 12,000-pound towing capacity and available 5.0L V8 engine - provides drivers with best-in-class performance. It’s an all-terrain beast, delivering up to 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque. It has no equal.

This has led to a 7% increase in Ford’s overall sales... and a surge of Wall Street success.

Ford Will Soon Debut F-150 Police Truck

The next-generation of police protection has arrived - with Ford delivering a new pursuit and retrieval platform to North America. No longer will those dusty back-roads prove too challenging for officers (with their low-bodied cruisers unable to endure the rough-and-tumble miles). Instead F-Series performance will ensure greater efficiency and improved protection.

The 2017 F-150 FXR is coming.

According to WNEP, Ford is partnering with precincts across both the United States and Canada - offering them access to the 2017 FXR. This F-150 will provide much-needed performance in rural areas, with its turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine yielding 375 HP and its AWD ensuring all-terrain capability. A front stabilizer bar will combat every rut in the road, while sport-calibrated brakes will promote precision. All of this will pair with a 100 MPH top-speed ratio (which the truck can maintain for extended periods of times).

Through this, the 2017 FXR can deftly respond to all investigations - allowing officers to pursue both leads and suspects across any environment. Stability and power are now guaranteed.

No official production date has been given for the new F-150 police responder. We anticipate to see this vehicle in B.C., however, before the end of 2018.

Can perfection be improved? This is the question that drives Ford, with its engineers seeking to (once again) elevate the F-150 Raptor. Though this model has proven a staggering success in 2017, the Big Blue Oval is already looking toward the future - wanting to push the pick-up boundaries and Go Further.

We think this won’t be an issue.

Four Wheeler has just revealed the first spy shots of the 2018 F-150 Raptor - proving that Ford is ready to conquer the mid-duty market once more. Though camouflaged, this platform still revealed a bold new look for next year, which will include:

Custom Badging - Raptor appliqués will now be found along the rear, adding a burst of contrasting chrome.

Revised Tailgate - Ford has re-sculpted the gate, creating a leaner profile and enlarging the surrounding LED lights.

Lengthened Body - A longer wheelbase gives the new F-150 a muscular appearance, while rocker moldings showcase the newly revised rear.

Each of these elements lends a sporty look to the 2018 Raptor, helping to further separate it from the competition. This V6 platform should prove popular when it arrives in the Lower Mainland.

Ford Announces Engine Outputs For 2018 F-150

(Posted on Jun 18, 2017 at 04:30PM by Lee Byard)
Customization proves the cornerstone of the F-150 - with Ford allowing drivers to define their performance needs. No longer sacrifice torque; no longer compromise horsepower. Instead conquer every terrain with help from four new engine options.

According to The Drive, Ford isn’t content to merely provide its customers with EcoBoost performance. It’s pushing the limits of its F-Series instead, fusing the 2018 F-150 with a suite of engines. Choose which best accommodates every towing, trailering, or payload need:

Engine: 2.7L EcoBoost V6
Horsepower: 325
Torque: 400

Engine: 5.0L V8
Horsepower: 395
Torque: 400

Engine: 3.3L Naturally Aspirated V6
Horsepower: 290
Torque: 265

Engine: 3.0L Diesel V6
Horsepower: 240 (Estimated)
Torque: 420 (Estimated)

Each of these options will pair with a new 10-speed automatic transmission - allowing F-150 drivers to better optimize each mile. Expect fluid shifting, direct-injection technology, and even enhanced economy (The Drive speculates that each platform will earn, at least, 2 MPGs extra on the highway). The ultimate pick-up is coming.

The 2018 F-150 should arrive in the early fall. We’ll be certain to have each of these engines available at Key West Ford, allowing our customers to select the perfect powertrains for their hauling needs. To learn more contact us today.

Power will soon pair with style - with Ford revealing details for its upcoming 2018 F-150. This pick-up (which should arrive in North America by early fall) has been completely transformed, delivering a mid-cycle aesthetic that will impress even the most fickle F-Series fan.

According to Maxim, Ford has fused its latest F-150 with several fascia upgrades, helping to increase its appeal to both the commercial and Millennial markets. A massive two-bar grille now anchors the front, emphasizing the newly widened frame. LED headlamps pair with chrome surrounds, while the hood boasts a chamfered sweep. The aluminum-spoked tires have been enlarged (between 17-inches to 22-inches), and the rear body offers sleek milled lines.

These elements combine to redefine the F-150 - with the F-Series’ Design Chief, Gordon Platto, remaking to Maxim: “These customers know our ‘Built Ford Tough’ DNA, and they want their trucks to convey strength, capability, boldness, and power.” This pick-up has been styled for a new generation of blue-collar, white-collar, and no-collar demographics.

The 2018 F-150 will soon arrive in the Lower Mainland. To learn more about this platform - or to schedule a test-drive in one of our current Ford trucks - visit our dealership today.
