The last time I made my own car-buying decision was in 1984. I was nervous; I had done some research, knew what I was looking for (more or less). I didn't want to be pressured but I also recognized my inexperience with cars. Key West Ford has a 30-day/2000 km 1-time vehicle exchange policy so that was a huge factor in my decision to buy with them. Peter was friendly, efficient and thankfully, not pushy. I bought my pre-owned vehicle. And then I had some minor trouble (addressed well by the Service Dept.), and realized I bought something older (and less costly) than what I should have. So... I thought I would test them on their 'vehicle exchange program'. Delighted does not describe how easy it was! Peter was away and Ryan stepped in, and almost as quick as you can say "Happy Customer" I was set up with my newer (more expensive, but still a great deal) Escape. I am a satisfied customer, and have no hesitation recommending Key West and their team.
My wife and I are so thankful to Michael and admire his level of service and experience in aquiring our first vehicle. My wife and I were thinking about purchasing a used vehicle, but Michael got us into a brand new Ford Escape and we just love it!!!!!!. We got what we were looking for and also at the price that my wife and I had budget for. We want to thank Michael and all of the team that were involved on this purchase, we totally highly recommend Michael and the Finance team for an amazing job. What a way to start a new year.

This is my 2nd Time Purchasing a Vehicle from Key West Ford and will be back again when I am in need of a New ride. They made it very easy.

I had a great experience
The service here is excellent. They really take great care of you. The purchase experience was really nice too. My salesperson was extremely friendly and helpful and I got a great deal! A huge thank you to Sales/Leasing Consultant's, for his/her patience, honesty, help, and courtesy. I couldn't be happier with my car.
I went in to buy an advertised used car so I knew what I wanted. My salesman knew how to move my examination of the vehicle along and then the purchase. I didn't feel "pushed" into anything maybe because of the experience of the salesman so he could "read me" and match his approach to mine.
The vehicle was made ready to pick up for when I was available to pick it up (later the same day.... maybe the only part where I felt a little "pushed" heh,heh,heh...).
Anyway, I'm quite happy with the service I got and I give full marks to my salesman, Mike Nokes , who was pleasant, calm and reasonable to deal with.
I'd go back to this dealership again, especially if I could have Mike as my salesman again.
A promise of diesel efficiency propels the automotive market - with critics thrilling with the revelation of a PowerStroke F-150. The 2018 platform will boast a new drivetrain, connecting riders to improved economy and budget-friendly miles.
The Key West Ford team knows, however, that savings should never demand a sacrifice of safety - and this is why we’re pleased to announce that the 2018 F-150 will also boast best-in-class protection technologies.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, Ford is fusing its new F-Series platform with a suite of advanced systems. Each promotes more effective driver responses, delivering real-time monitoring on every road. Available features will now include:
A 360-Degree Camera: highlighting all terrains and conditions through high-resolution lenses.
A Lane-Keeping System: identifying all driver drifts and helping them properly realign their vehicles.
A Blind Spot Information System: observing the road through radar sensors and alerting drivers to the presence of potential impediments.
Trailer Tow Technology: utilizing rear cameras to assess all conditions surrounding the trailer (up to 33-feet).
Pedestrian Detection Technology: showcasing all frontal obstacles through high-definition cameras and scanning sensors.
Through these features, the 2018 F-150 provides class-leading safety - helping to mitigate collisions and protect all riders.

Bold design shapes the 2017 Explorer. Ford - in its perpetual quest to Go Further - is redefining SUV style, offering drivers a series of fascia upgrades to customize every mile.
The LA Scope Press reports that Ford is transforming its beloved Explorer. The 2017 platform (which has already received critical acclaim for its responsive 3.5L engine and Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive) will now feature a class-exclusive Sport Package. This will deliver a variety of exterior enhancements, fusing the big-bodied SUV with:
A Black Roof Rack.
Magnetic Gray Wheels.
Magnetic Gray Appliqués and Mirror Caps.
Custom Body Cladding.
These details will combine to emphasize the Explorer’s strong lines - with the extended wheelbase (198-inches) and oversized front track (67-inches) creating an aggressive all-terrain look. The Sport Package will complement this perfectly.
Those complements will extend beyond the fascia. The LA Scope Press also notes that Ford is tweaking the Explorer’s interior as well, offering bespoke leather trim (Dark Earth Gray) and custom contrast stitching. This will add a touch of sophistication to every backroad ride.
The Sport Package will launch in the late spring. To learn more about this and other Explorer add-ons contact us today.
Economy proves an unfamiliar word in the F-Series lexicon. White their massive frames and turbocharged powertrains, the F-150 and its siblings have never embraced efficiency - choosing instead to emphasize strength. It’s been a constant consumer compromise.
That compromise no longer proves necessary, however - because the F-150 is receiving a diesel upgrade.
According to Fox News, Ford will soon fuse its beloved F-150 with a diesel engine. The 2018 variant (which will arrive in the fall) will boast an available 3.0L PowerStroke V6, allowing it to deliver improved performance and fuel distribution. Though no official MPG ratios have been released, critics anticipate that this platform will greatly improve upon the current capabilities: 19 miles-per-gallon in the city and 26 miles-per-gallon on the highway. A minimum 10% enhancement is expected.
The promise of diesel power has drivers rallying at the pump. The Key West team knows, however, that all thoughts will eventually shift to towing - with every pick-up fan anxious over payload capabilities and heavy-duty responses. Allow us to ease those anxieties. The 2018 F-150 will feature more than 12,200 pounds of trailering, generating best-in-class results for B.C. and beyond.
Exceptional performance will soon combine with exceptional value. We can’t wait!

Comfort defines the future - with Ford promising spacious seven-passenger configurations and extended wheelbases, ensuring family-friendly styling with every mile. The 2019 Explorer is on the way!
According to Cars Lane, the 2019 Explorer has been spotted in Michigan (Ford’s signature proving grounds). Despite being camouflaged in dizzying print, this SUV still managed to make an impression on passing drivers - with its black-painted tires illuminated by dozens of camera flashes. Spy photos have flooded the Internet, and critics are already scrutinizing every detail. Spec rumors run wild.
A Revised Interior - leather seating, a high-definition satellite radio, and automatic climate controls will now be provided across all trims.
A New Exterior - LED headlamps and a larger grille will add visual flair to the fascia.
Enhanced Safety Features - adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera, and lane departure warnings will now be available.
Through these upgrades (along with the already-confirmed 3.5L six-cylinder engine), the Explorer will serve as a perfect counterpoint to tiny hatchbacks and small sedans - offering drivers the space, safety, and style they crave.

2015 proved to be the Year of the Mustang - with Ford claiming the calendar with new pony-power. The brand delivered an enhanced platform, introducing drivers to V6 performance, smooth multi-link handling, and track-worthy Brembo brakes. It was the next generation of fastback capabilities, and it roared across every sales chart.
That roar has now returned - rumbling in the distance and offering a promise of speed.
According to Yahoo News, Ford will soon premiere a refreshed 2018 Mustang. This platform - which will serve as the midway point between the 2015 version and the next full 2020 upgrade - should prove ideal for pony-lovers, offering:
MagneRide Suspension - which will ensure peerless handling and improved highway comfort.
Dual-Mode Sports Exhaust - which will enhance engine responses, allowing drivers to better control noise tuning and vibrations.
Dual-Clutch Transmission - which will provide more precise transitions, allowing the car to shift between custom track modes and generate higher speeds.
Turbocharged Four-Cylinder Engine - which will replace the current V6 and offer superior power.
Through these tweaks (along with a reported fascia upgrade), the 2018 Mustang will provide superior performance - with its powertrain tailored to quick responses and deft steerage. We anticipate that this car will dominate both the roads and the charts, and we can’t wait to see it in B.C.!

The season is dreary - a series of slick days and cold nights, with high winds greeting every hour. Winter leaves B.C. residents shivering in their homes, huddled under blankets and clutching cups of hot cocoa. They hide from the world.
As the Forbes team recently discovered, however, that isn’t always a possibility.
On January 9th, the noted magazine sent its writers to the icy spans of Estes Park. There - surrounded by white roads and thermometers that ominously proclaimed the temperature to be -31 degrees Celsius - they were told to test the capabilities of the 2017 Ford Escape. How would this vehicle fare against the winter wilderness?
The answer proved quite positive.
During their (unwanted and unwelcome) adventure, the Forbes team discovered the true power of the 2017 Escape - relying on its turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder engine, which yields 179 HP and 177 lb.-ft of torque. The available all-wheel-drive allowed the SUV to seamlessly power through snow and sleet, while a 6-speed automatic transmission delivered precision.
To further impress these plucky journalists, the 2017 Escape also offered a bevy of award-winning safety features - including adaptive cruise control, a rearview camera with dynamic gridlines, and park assistance. This ensured greater protection on the road, countering changing terrains with ease.
Through strength and stability, the 2017 Escape conquered Estes Park - and it allowed the Forbes team to navigate the perils of winter.
We still think we’ll wait for spring.

In 2011 a new philosophy swept through the Ford brand - a whirlwind of bigger, better, more. All platforms would be oversized; all specs would be enhanced; and the entire line-up would receive a wide-fendered upgrade.
Those upgrades proved too much for the Ranger. This compact pick-up had no place among the F-150s and custom Raptors, and it was shoved unceremoniously off the assembly line. It was too small to survive in this massive market.
The trends always change, however, and Ford recently revealed that the Ranger will soon find its way back to the roads.
According to Yahoo, Ford is revving up production for a 2019 Ranger. This truck - which will serve as a more economical alternative to the F-Series - will boast a lightweight body-on-frame design and a responsive 4x4 drivetrain. This will allow it to deliver light-duty performance, filling a void in the automotive world (compact platforms have almost disappeared, forcing drivers to rely on extended wheelbases for every task. This is both impractical and inefficient).
Consumers have been begging for a new Ranger since the brand was discontinued in 2011. With the release of this 2019 platform, all desires should be fulfilled - with Ford promising dynamic handling and superior speeds. This will be an ideal option for those in need of everyday practicality.
Less truly is more.

Innovation has defined the decades. Since 1975 the Ford F-150 has served as the leading North American pick-up - embracing power, performance, and strength with every generation. It’s continually redefined the market, adapting to every mile; and its quest to Go Further is never-ending.
It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Ford has just premiered the latest F-Series advancement - introducing drivers to the 2018 F-150.
According to AutoBlog, the 2018 F-150 has finally been revealed (after months of hazy spy-shots and unconfirmed rumors, with pick-up fans clumsily piecing together specs). This platform features a series of enhancements, with Ford bolstering both its exterior and engine capabilities.
A 3.6L PowerStroke V6 engine now anchors the truck, delivering diesel efficiency and best-in-class towing (12,200 pounds). This pairs with a new 10-speed automatic transmission to ensure precise handling on even the roughest roads - while standardized Auto Start/Stop technology optimizes every mile, yielding up to 29 MPGs. This ensures superior economy for every adventure.
The new F-150 also boasts dynamic styling, with Ford fusing its fascia with an elongated wheelbase and a wide-fendered profile. This creates a more aggressive, heavy-duty design - which is then perfectly complemented by the new grille and integrated LED headlamps. This platform is engineered to impress.
We certainly think it succeeds, with our team already hurrying to make room on the Key West Ford lot. We’re ready for the latest F-Series powerhouse.

2017 has just begun - but Ford fans are already looking toward the future, trying to shove the days forward and accelerate every night. They want the years to bleed quickly into one other, allowing 2020 to finally arrive.
This is, after all, when Ford will release the next-generation Bronco. This is when all-terrain performance will return.
It’s also when aluminum construction will make its debut - with Auto Evolution reporting that Ford is considering fusing its classic Bronco will new materials. Due to the positive response of the F-150’s military-grade panels (with its traditional steel replaced with more efficient alloy), a new body-on-frame configuration is now anticipated. This configuration will boast lightweight composites and sleek lines, promoting a more economical platform.
Through this, Ford hopes to enhance performance - increasing speed, decreasing fuel consumption, and providing defter handling. The 2020 Bronco will deliver pure power on the highway or the backroads. The brand’s signature SUV will be primed for a new era.
Spare us a moment to collect our jaws from the floor.
The Bronco proves an undeniable force within automotive history - and we expect the 2020 platform to continue the tradition of off-road thrills.
