The total experience of purchasing my new vehicle from Allan was enjoyable. Allan was very informative explaining thing and did not push for a sale allowing me to come to the decision that the car I wanted was the right vehicle for me. It’s no surprise, therefore, that Ford will soon transition into a new era of hybrid capabilities - replacing its stalwart C-Max with the Model E.
According to Automotive News, Ford wishes to elevate its hybrid line-up. To do this, it will phase out the C-Max (which debuted in 2003) and will offer drivers a more efficient platform. The Model E will soon serve as the next-generation of plug-in power, delivering superior economy with its estimated 47 MPG ratio.
This will allow it launch past the current C-Max, which only offers 42 MPGs. It will also provide drivers with fresh hatchback styling and new engine capabilities (critics anticipate that the Model E will offer EcoBoost technology to ensure more sustainable miles).
Though the C-Max has earned much acclaim in its short lifespan, sales have fallen short of expectations. The release of the Model E should revitalize Ford’s hybrid line-up and introduce plug-in platforms to a wider audience.
